January 7th : The Bucket List

Great challenge Cynthia and love your page; it made me think. I've checked off quite a few (being old and all)!

 
Hope this works... I don't really have a lifetime bucket list, but I was able to come up with a list of things I hope to achieve before this year is over :)
 
Wonderful challenge! As I though about all the places I want to go and things to do, I felt happiness come over me. This bucket list is full of happy thoughts.

 
This one was a little harder for me, and I spent a lot more time on putting together our trip goals/bucket list items. There was really only one thing that we didn't get to see/do while we were there. Otherwise it was the most awesome trip. I used the rest of the page to show off those things that we loved - like a trip report.

Sooo many amazing layouts for this challenge - and I LOVED your example page, Cynthia!!!

I hardly ever use alphas in my scrapping, so I had a lot of fun with this one.

I retired 1 week before my 51st birthday!!!... that was in 2012 and I haven't looked back! May 50 be your best yet! Also I celebrated my 50th all year long!! :) Happy Birthday!!!

Retire at 50?! Lolll, my husband is 50 now, but with an 11 year and an 8 year old boy in the house retirement is not an option at all. Maybe by age 67...

We worked hard to plan it that way. My Mom was 54 when she passed away and I was not going to "not enjoy" retirement. So early on Hubby and I worked it out :) we are happy being retired. Hugs
 
I don't really do bucket lists, though both my kids did them in 5th grade (they had the same teacher). It was fun to see that they each had some of the same things on their lists.

I just did a travel bucket list..
 
I am amazed with the visual creativity, and SO happy to get to know you guys more, and even getting surprised by some of your wishes (with people I have known long !!!)

I'm still behind with commenting in your pages because I thought a couple of hours sleep would do it, but obviously getting older gets the concept of time stretched... so I slept the entire afternoon, but I will sleep the night now so I can be fine during the day. I am still heading to your galleries now, but I noticed a common ground for many people, that is to See The Northern Lights..... it is also something I would LOVE to do.... so maybe we can see if we can time it ad we all go to Scotland together to see them there?

I think I should add in my list (which is already 100+ items long!) to have a Lilypad's live meeting!!!!!!!!

I have met many of you in person and we have a great friendship, but the magic of scrapbooking, as we were saying with @Roxana and often talk about with others of you....is that the connection is stronger, maybe because we share the most loved moments in our life, some of us share deep feelings with Art Journaling sometimes, there is a dialogue established at times through the pages in the gallery, and after almost 6 years as a proud member of The Pad's family....not only I can say many of you saved my life , literally, but also that all of you occupy a place in my heart in one way or another.....and some of you I have known for years ...never cease to amaze me and surprise me, not only with your talent but with things I never knew would like/dream of/etc....
In case some of you don't know, I am a Latina, born in Argentina but growing up in between there and Brazil, most of my adult life in Brazil, we are extremely emotional and some of you have a HUGE dimension in my heart, but everyone of this pages makes me a bit closer ..and I love what I see/feel. And it is a blessing to be able to see beauty and feel close to fellow human beings..... so thank you!!!!!
