What are you Driving?| Pad Patter 08.01

I drive a Nissan Quasqai +2 (as pictured)
The +2 means we have 2 extra seats in the back of the car, it also means almost no space left for groceries...
But it's big enough to take us everywhere we want I love driving in it, for Dutch standards it's a big car

This is The Bee

This year I had to get all new brakes & 4 brand new tires.
:faint2

Last month, somebody hit me, so there's a nice big baby blue scrape across the driver side doors. Someone stole the passenger side mirror cover, so that's missing. I took a corner too narrow & tore the rear passenger door handle off. At this point, I just don't care. I'm not putting any more money into this car.

I'm planning/hoping to get a KIA Niro in the spring.

I drive a 2015 Kia Soul in Alien Green II. I adore this car. Before it, I had a 2010 Kia Soul in silver. The one I have currently, though, has so many extra features and is much more comfortable - they did a lot of improvements from 2010 to 2015. It has a LOT of room on the inside and it's zippy and quick and great on gas mileage. I can park in loads of spots. I just love this car!

oh thos is a sensitive subject for us right now.
I drive a Skoda Roomster, which is like a mini mini van...ish. We get a lease every three years (on disability money) but as we need to save now, we didn't ordered a new car yet, so next week I wont be driving :(
this is our car, we have had the same car (make and model, a new one every 3 years) for 9 years, but they don;'t make them anymore. I wanted a Jeep, but in London is pointless and I will need to fit a disability scooter, so we are still looking fto see which one we can get without paying any money up front... here is ours

As a woman over 6' tall, you may have just sold me on the Odyssey. My brother, who's taller than I am, has one. He's told me "get an Odyssey" but has never expounded on why so I ignored him lol. #siblings

test drive it at least!

i don't recognise most of these model names but hi-5 to my fellow hyundai driver @bestcee - mine is an i40 station wagon, they are harder to find now, most everything is suv and 4WD now and you type 'wagon' into a search bar and get big 4WD's - the main feature we wanted (apart from boot/trunk space for roadtrips!) which sounds trivial, was airconditioning vents in the backseat, i remember hot sweaty roadtrips as a kid, & DS & DD used to fight over the front seat in summers after school for the airvent but apparently it's not high on the priority list for interior design with station wagons & hard to find

mine's about 7-8yrs old & bought 2nd hand about 2yrs ago (it's a bronze/cappuccino/brown colour depending on what paper work you read - why they can't all call it the same name, i don't know, and it's scratchy inside b/cos it had some patients in the back as it was an area health service car before and i can only imagine the people trying to claw their way out but it suits us and goes well and hey the kids aren't all that gentle, kicking the doors open in the afternoon with their dirty shoes etc anyway so i'm not so worried if they don't take care of my precious - but it did just have the driving column taken out to get rid of this black plastic stuff that over time has shredded and accumulates and causes a knocking sound and can cause the steering to go if it isn't seen to, an extra couple hundred we weren't expecting - it was a fault with 'i' models for a few years that are about the same age as mine)

A white VW Golf since 2002 (Diesel TDI with all the bells and whistles that were available back then). I only have 80K some miles since I've always been just over a mile from work - when I worked.

I love love love this car!

I am driving a 2009 Dodge Caravan and it's been having issues lately a LOT with the brakes. My hubby wants me to get something new before too long, but I don't know what I want. I love the convenience of the minivan, but it's not very exciting to get a new minivan to me... I'm thinking of keep driving what I have until it dies. :giggle I really like paid for vehicles!

I drive and love my 2011 Mini Cooper Clubman. His name is Parker. I love how zippy it is! I got this car after my kids became adult and moved away!

A Mini Cooper is my dream car. I want a cute little blue one with racing stripes. But like you, it'll have to wait until I'm not the Mom-taxi anymore. :)

Nothin' fancy. I have a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. It gets us where we need to be.
