This week I'm looking forward to... | pad patter 7.9.18

Laughing about the housecleaners coming...mine have been busy the last two weeks (they come every other week) and so next week will be a month since they came. I broke down and cleaned the toilets but only swept up once. So I'm looking forward to being away this coming weekend for a retreat. I would be that the temp will hit high 90s since it has always been sweaty hot weather every year I've gone. But this year, I may take my new not-Hunters but instead LLBean rubber boots if they fit. That way I can walk down to the Potomac river without fear of ticks. But hot rubber sounds pretty bad to me.

And today I'm looking forward to an England win tomorrow and Bringing It Home next!!!

Sounds like you've got a lot to look forward too. Enjoy that weekend retreat... I'm so jelly!
 
I'm looking forward to a trip to Vegas. My son is playing in a basketball tournament so we will be there 3 nights. He only has 1 game per day on Thurs and Fri so it leaves us some time to explore before Sat/Sun (multiple games expected both days). I definitely am planning to go see the Valley of Fire, likely Fri evening to take some photographs :)
 
@keepscrappin hate to say my birthday was rather uneventful mainly cause I was preparing to go away today. Will make sure I make time while I’m away to treat myself though.

Sounds like fun... stay hydrated and as cool as you can in Vegas in July.

This particular child doesn't get told NO enough, she's loud and obnoxious...and all manners my girls have go out the window b/c of her. This is the LAST time she is allowed here.

What am I looking forward to this week? Nothing really. It's a regular ol' week -- nothing terrible but nothing special, either. And that's perfectly okay with me. :)
 
@keepscrappin how exciting to have your son back in your arms!

Kids have their last at school tomorrow and than summer vacation starts (for them... I still need to work for 3 weeks before my vacation starts) looking forward to not having to get 4 kids on school on time with filled lunchboxes and drinks in their bags.

The kids will go to my parents (who are on a campsite) and they can stay with grandpa and grandma for almost 3 weeks. My parents love to have them around, when I'm off work I'll go to the campsite to.
