We live in a construction zone. I am sometimes ashamed of it. So when I saw the challenge, I started panicking. We don't have many mirrors in our house. And none that I can take outside. So I felt bad about not being able to take beautiful photos like the ones in the example.
So instead of being ashamed of my home and panicking about the challenge, I embraced it and shot a photo of our unfinished dining room. The walls and the ceiling need to be finished, there are a lot of tools in the room, we need to get new doors... etc...
My journal is about renovating our home. My boyfriends' dad is coming over to help us. He is mostly renovating our home, since that was his job before he retired.
Love this page! I really love that you embraced the chaos of the renovation with your photo! Living in a house during a renovation is tough... but it's your life at the moment and I love that you documented it using this challenge! Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge!
@tkradtke Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it. And thank you so much for hosting this challenge. I had a lot of fun and I am happy with how my page turned out.
This is a stunning page. Love the selfie being offset in the mirror. Such a great take on the challenge. I love all the different elements and textures - so much to look at and take in.
What a gorgeous page! Your layers and shadows are just divine! And I love that you documented "real life" rather than waiting for "perfect life".. Well done!!
