What A Wonderful! & Interesting Challenge!...It Took Me Some Time To Get My Head Wrapped Around This One Creatively!...I Skipped Ahead To Today's Challenge...I Still Have To Go Do Day#2...But I Was So...Inspired Looking At Everyone's Unique Interpretation Of This Challenge...I Just Had To Jump In & Create Mine!...

*As Per The Rules: I Chose 5 Words To Describe Myself:

#1. Artist : Element To Coincide : Paint : Well! That's Obvious!...I'm A Mixed Media/Art Journaler!...& Paint! Is One Of My Closest Friends!...

#2. Thinker : Element To Coincide : Clock : I Get Distracted By My Own Thoughts & Time Always Seems To Get Away From Me...LOL!...

#3. Original : Element To Coincide : A Large Pair Of Round Glasses : I See Everything That Is Around Me...With Or Without Rose-Colored Glasses...

#4. Bold : Element To Coincide : A Mixed Media Tag With Scribble On It & An Already Attached Red Button!...[To Be Clear!...I Did Not Add To It...It Was Like That...One Piece]...Red Is My Favorite Color!...And I Like Scribble & Texture...

#5. Perfectionist : Element To Coincide : Bird : I See Birds As This Too!...They Set About To Build The Perfect Nest For Their Babies!...Nurture Them! Take Care Of Them...& Make Sure They Are Fed!...& Only The Best Will Do!...Yes!...I'm One Of These!...I'm So Darn! Picky About Everything!...My Clothes/My Hair/My Stuff/My Layouts...Etc!...But I Have Mellowed Out A Bit In Recent Years!...But Only A Little! BIT!...LOL!...

holy smokes - this is amazing! i love the thoughtfulness you put into choosing your words to represent you and how you did some understated cut outs but yet they are so striking and beautiful ... the colors and layers of paint gorgeous. you really rocked this!

OMG Rhonda!!!!! this is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! I can't remember seeing it before, I think I saw you had posted, but didn't stop to look at the page (as usual, I am behind with everything!!!) so Apologies for the delay, I know you as a sister can understand the issues that health insist on coming up with to detour us from our precious scrapping!!!!
I read your description and LOVE the imagery, the symbolism to represent each word is perfect and so feels like YOU!!!!
absolutely love the composition of your background, you are an awesome blender and a Queen of combining the unexpected.... and the way you layered the paper pieces, the placement of each word in an original off center... and the one thing I keep saying : you are a master in creating light in your pages! the concentration of the blues with the addition of white enhance the subtle parts of the orange and create spots of light that are genius!!!!!
as always, you rocked this!!!!!!!
