Journaling reads: From the street vendors to the flower shops, the outdoor cafes and even their wine labels, there was something magical, a glow to the golden city of Prague - March 2006
Ah.. I never saw that side of Prague in December of 2008. We always said we'd go back so your lovely layout gives me an idea of what it might be to sit in the warmth.
We have returned from Prague the day Italy went into lockdown. That was our last travel point before all the h.e.hockey sticks broke loose. We also missed the summer side of Prague. One more reason to go back.
@Angela Toucan@cookingmylife@zinzilah Thank you! Prague is a beautiful city. We were there in March, it was supposed to be quite warm (according to the travel guides), at least warmer than what we are used to back in the Midwest in the U.S. But the travel guides were wrong. It was cold. All of the lovely outdoor cafes had their heaters on. A few days after we got there, they had an unprecedented seven inches of snow. They didn't even have the snow removal equipment to take care of it. Memories.
All these lovely photos make me want to go there -- but, of course, in today's environment, I will travel only in my imagination. Thanks for sparking it with these photos and lovely layout.
