"I love my hands and what they allow me to do. I can pray to my God, pet my cat, crochet a scarf for a homeless man, hold a book while I read, hold the hand of my grandchild or my loving husband. I can play in Photoshop on my computer and spend the day with my kids even when they are across the country. I can volunteer and pack food bags for hungry children. I can create and manage the website and app for our church. I can cook favorites for my family, fold warm clothes from the dryer, and feel the clean sheets. I can talk to friends & family on my phone, check on the weather, and watch my grandson play football miles away. I can create beauty, I can feel texture and warmth. I thank God for the gifts of my hands."
I am smiling so big is beaming with light and warmth in this (very) cold English weather!!!!! I always love what you do, you are an amazing "translator of feelings" and memory keeper, this brings the 2 together and I LOVE- LOVE love the fact that you have journaled so much,in such beautiful way, I know sometimes we click with some of the community despite not talking one 2 one or having a friendship outside the gallery or forums....you have been (for a few years now!!!! ) one of those "sisters" whom I admire in so many ways.... love how you mixed the doll with that awesome gigantic hand, it has a sweet, fun side and, of course, the wonderful, so very powerful, truthful journaling....!!!!
Thank you so much for playing with us!!!!
