oh wow! this is beyond gorgeous! i love the way you documented this - such a treasure. the patterns, the layers the journaling looks like a newspaper - it's gorgeous. so want to lift this beautiful page ... congrats your page is a Froggy Favorite!
I remember such a tradition at our house growing up. We didn't call it 'a tradition', it was just what we did. You've inspired me. I'm going to corral my sons and their friends who are always showing up when I actually cook something, and make it a regular thing. I just sent out this text: this Sunday, meatloaf, 2pm. Thanks for the reminder!
well... you know I love it, because your pages are all in my favorite book!!!!!! Gorgeous choices of composition and Danyale's Sundara is perfect here!!!! I may need to make a blocked/pocket page with that kit as I love those squares but hardly ever use them!!!! We had Friday evenings at my paternal Grand parents when I was little, it was the whole family, which was HUGE, lots of brothers & sisters, lots of kids and grandkids...I have amazing memories of those dinners.... then it was with my parents, my brother, sometimes my aunties and uncles and my cousins, we started going to restaurants at some point so there was not too much work.... your page took me back in time to some of my most favorites memories of my life..... funny that you always do the dishes!!!! funnily enough, the kitchen is one place where I like doing all.... so I maybe fine with it too!!! gorgeous page, love your journaling... awesome as usual!!!! Thank you so much for playing with us!!!!
Cynthia, your compliments are always loved, thank you. Im happy you have all those great memories, too. spending time with family and cousins is so great! @MrsPeel
I also talk/type too much so if I am boring you, feel free to move into something else or even shut me up LOL I wont get offended!!!
This was a particular;y emotional memory trigger...not sure if you know, I live in London, my dfamily is spread al over the world but mainly Brazil & Argentina, last time we were able to travel was 2014.... anyway, I ll stop or I m risking boring you again!!!
Never! never boring me. i love hearing stories and experiences! its hard to live spread out away from family when you cant visit them regularly. i think we gain a lot of strengths from that, but also makes us love and miss them even more. Family is the most important thing! @MrsPeel
