Recipe:

No Bake Peanut Butter Balls (A candy Cookie) - F. File
2 Cups sugar
2 Cups Rice Krispies (Crushed Finely)
2/3 cup peanut butter
5 Tablespoons melted butter
6 Semi-Sweet Bakers Chocolate squares (or pkg of chocolate or butterscotch chips)
1 (7 oz.) package Baker’s flaky coconut

miniature cupcake papers
*tsp crisco shortening*

In a bowl, finely crush Rice Krispies. Add confectioners sugar, peanut butter & melted butter.

Mix well and shape into 1 inch round balls. set aside. In a sauce pan melt chocolate (use 1 tsp. shortening to make pliable). In another bowl place flaky coconut.

Set up an assembly line: Take peanut butter ball, roll in melted chocolate and then roll in coconut, then place in minature cupcake liner. continue until done. We place in refrigerator
to keep longer. Enjoy!!!

(Be careful not to burn the chocolate. Melt over low to medium heat stirring until melted. If chocolate starts to cool you may want to warm up.),

      @Donitab Thank you Donita :) They are yum.. I don't make them really anymore as I am retired and hubby doesn't care for Peanut Butter. We loved them growing up and I used to make them for work and bring them in. I can't have them in the house as I should not be eating them LOL

      They do look yum ! Don't think I will ask for a calorie count LoL. Nice festive page to put your recipe cards on too, the masking really is like a snowdust.

      @Nemla Ha ha Thanks Vivi.. no idea re calorie count.. the recipe is an old one from Mom and that is way before calorie counts were added to recipes... we were making these in the early 1970's :)
