Welcome to mobile highlights, where I love to share some goodies that have popped up on our Instagram feed! Here in the UK the weather is getting more rainy, but also a little warmer but I just can’t believe that March is on the way!

First up this time is this lovely simple pocket style page by @afairlyfabulouslife! The addition of the simple elements and washi tape make this photo-less page really pop.

Next up we have this super fun layout from @nicoleleblanc74! The stitched down paper hearts and super fun paint in the background make this sweetly simple layout really stand out.

Now let’s take a look at this geometric masterpiece from @laura_scraps! The layering on this page is stunning, with beautiful embellishment too. This is particularly eye-catching for the use of many patterned papers.

Now for a clean and simple hybrid gem from @findingnana! Loving these little squares on this hybrid layout, it’s just so pretty!

This pocket page by @tkradtke is just adorable with it’s sweetly stitched grid and simple but fun embellishment. The colours in the photographs work just perfectly with the colours in the kit, making a really cohesive page.

I’m a creative who pulls inspiration from all corners of life—both the joyful highs and the real-life moments that punch you in the gut. Honestly, I don’t think I can pin down a single scrapbooking style for myself, so let’s just go with eclectic. My layouts really depend on my mindset. If I’m in a deep, cerebral mood, you’ll likely see something chaotic and messy. If I’m more relaxed, it tends to come out clean, simple, and structured.

My brain is usually running on several channels at once, so it’s completely normal for me to be working on a digital layout, dabbling in a hybrid project, and getting messy with art journaling or mixed media—all at the same time.

Here are a few of my go-to tools: Digital: Adobe Photoshop CC + my MacBook; Photos: Canon Rebel or iPhone; Hybrid: Cricut Joy + sewing machine; Art Journaling: watercolors, stencils, and artsticks

And when it comes to embellishments—digital or physical—I’m always reaching for messy threads, ribbons, and Polaroids. Always the Polaroids.
