Bits & Pieces: Creativity in Motion

As I sat down to write this month’s Bits & Pieces, I realized just how much has been happening lately. Some of it is easy to see, and some of it is happening quietly behind the scenes, but it all feels like it’s moving in the same direction—forward.

On the creative side, I’ve been spending time exploring journaling again and working through a few hybrid project ideas that have been living in my head for far too long. Some are still little more than notes scribbled in a notebook, while others are slowly starting to take shape. It’s been a good reminder that creativity doesn’t always happen in big leaps. Sometimes it happens in the small moments when we give ourselves permission to experiment, play, and see where an idea leads.

At the same time, there’s been plenty happening at The Lilypad. I’m continually looking for ways to grow our community, strengthen what we’ve built, and explore new opportunities for the future. One of those opportunities is that The Lilypad is now Meta Verified. It’s something I’ve been working toward for a while, and I’m excited to see what doors it might open as we continue to expand our reach and connect with more scrapbookers and memory keepers.

We’ve also welcomed a new guest designer to the shop. Many of you already know Jess from our community, but she’s also the creative talent behind The Curio Pantry. It’s been wonderful to see her products arrive in the store, and if you haven’t had a chance to browse her collection yet, now is a great time. Her grand opening sale continues through the end of day tomorrow, with everything in her shop 40% off.

And of course, Summer Camp is officially underway! Camp Shoreline opened this week, and I couldn’t be more excited to see it come to life. Our Pollys and designers have put together an amazing lineup of challenges, games, inspiration, and activities, and I hope you’ll join us for some of the fun. Whether you participate every week or simply stop by when you can, there’s a place for you around the campfire.

As always, thank you for being part of this community. Whether you’re creating, journaling, documenting everyday moments, or simply gathering inspiration for what’s next, I’m grateful you’re here.

Until next time,

x-Esther
