Hello everyone! Polly Melanie here to tell you everything that’s been happening in the world of Memory Pockets Monthly!

Our fabulous Memory Pockets Monthly (MPM) designers have done it again – this month’s collection is extraordinary! Now that the kids are back in school, life falls back into a routine. This month’s collection is doing double-duty: there is a wide variety of cards and elements and papers to document all your September memories, but for those of you who are into planners as well, this collection has everything you need to prettify your planner!

As always, there is a positive message included in the collection: Your time is now! Get it done! You can do it!

This month, it is designer Allison Pennington’s turn for a challenge! In keeping with the Agenda theme, she challenges you to include your daily or weekly to-do list or a list of your goals for the week or month in your pocket page! We collect memories after they happen, but sometimes it’s interesting to know what your goals were or what was on your to do list at the start of the week or month! I’m a creative who pulls inspiration from all corners of life—both the joyful highs and the real-life moments that punch you in the gut. Honestly, I don’t think I can pin down a single scrapbooking style for myself, so let’s just go with eclectic. My layouts really depend on my mindset. If I’m in a deep, cerebral mood, you’ll likely see something chaotic and messy. If I’m more relaxed, it tends to come out clean, simple, and structured.

My brain is usually running on several channels at once, so it’s completely normal for me to be working on a digital layout, dabbling in a hybrid project, and getting messy with art journaling or mixed media—all at the same time.

Here are a few of my go-to tools: Digital: Adobe Photoshop CC + my MacBook; Photos: Canon Rebel or iPhone; Hybrid: Cricut Joy + sewing machine; Art Journaling: watercolors, stencils, and artsticks

And when it comes to embellishments—digital or physical—I’m always reaching for messy threads, ribbons, and Polaroids. Always the Polaroids.
