Froggy Finds: Journal Cards

Greetings, Pad Scrappers! Polly Liana here, inviting you to join me again on a trip back in time to fall back in love with some of our very first products. Today, we’re celebrating journal cards: those wonderful little cards that are foundational in pocket scrapbooking. Here’s a list of some of our very favorite journal cards from way back when we first opened the store:

First up from Sabrina Dupre Designs, we love this collection of cards because it covers a lot of different opportunities for journaling, from the everyday to the unforgettable:

Next, from One Little Bird, we love the simplicity of these cards. They remind us of retro library cards and they’re perfect for no-frills journaling:

From CD Muckosky, we love these whimsical, mixed media cards with colorful paint and pattern details:

Next up, Lynne-Marie brings us a really fun collection of cards that are perfect for putting quotes in the spotlight. We love the bright colors and the clever shapes:

Lastly, two groups of journal cards from Valorie Wibbens Designs. The first is a great group of black and white cards with classic frame accents and space for photos:

Also from Valorie Wibbens Designs, a set of very clever templates that allow us to design our own journal cards, choosing the papers, elements and patterns that work best for our layouts. It’s the product that keeps on giving!

I hope you’ve enjoyed stepping back in time with me to bestow some love and appreciation for the classic journal cards that came into existence when The Lilypad first opened.

We encourage you to scoop up some of these collection of cards in our store. Post your layouts in our gallery for some love and join us in the forums for some fun. See you there!
