I love having background noise to keep me company while I sit at my desk and scrap.
I listen to them for creative inspiration, to learn more about my craft, and to just have fun!
Today I thought I would share some of my favorite podcasts to listen to while I scrap and invite you to share some of your favorite podcasts as well!
Pocket Talk by Jess Forester
In this podcast, Jess Forester interviews pocket page scrapbookers about their creative process. This podcast is designed to inspire and educate and will answer any specific questions you may have about pocket scrapbooking.
This is a new podcast focused on creativity that looks to be very promising. The host mentioned in the first episode that she plans to have some digital scrapbookers on the show at some point. The second episode was released today and it’s all about Creative Self Care. I can’t wait to listen!
Scrap Gals
The Scrap Gals is a weekly show hosted by Tiffany Lowder and Tracy Claiborne, two scrapbook enthusiasts. Each show covers a variety of scrapbook topics. I do have to warn you that Scrap Gals recently moved to a format that requires a subscription in order to listen.
Elise Gets Crafty
Elise Gets Crafty is a weekly podcast focused on creative small business. This podcast is on its fifth season, so there’s lots to listen to!
Crafty Ass Female
I hesitate to list this one because the name is a little off-putting (to me, at least). But it is a new, fun scrapbook focused podcast that is worth giving a try. This podcast seeks to explore what it means to be a crafty female in the world today.
These next three podcasts aren’t focused on creativity or scrapbooking, but they are a lot of fun to listen to!!
The Popcast
The Popcast, hosted by Jamie Golden and Knox McCoy, is a pop culture podcast that strives to “educate the world on things that entertain, but do not matter”. It is a hilarious show that I’ve listened to for years!
Sorta Awesome
Sorta Awesome is a weekly podcast geared towards women wanting to stay current on all things awesome…think culture, media, trending conversations, etc. Meg Teitz is the main host and she is joined by rotating co-hosts and guests. The goal of this show is for listeners to feel encouraged, empowered and excited to “find the awesome” in everyday.
Tea and Tattle
Tea and Tattle is a UK lifestyle podcast for “discerning” women, hosted by Miranda Mills. Miranda started the podcast as a way to share conversations with successful, creative women. Tea and Tattle features discussions on books, fashion, well being, and delightful English accents!
I would love to know if you listen to podcasts while you scrap! And if you do, please share your favorites in the comments here!!
