Just in case you have never come to one of these, let me point out: It's so much more than "Watching Cheryl Scrap". Cheryl will answer questions, she'll show you how to do something*, you can see her thought process, and of course, chat with scrappy friends while she scraps! And watching someone who's a quick scrapper helps me learn how to commit to a decision and move on! Especially helpful during MOC.


*Cheryl currently uses Photoshop CC, but has used PSE before and can usually answer a question about it. It's not a tutorial session, but there is a ton that I've learned from attending! How to weave, how to select, how to use the tools to your advantage. And she's always willing to show something she did again, slower.

I suggest you download your connection to Adobe Connect earlier in the day so you don't get frustrated if it's your first time using that. I'm going to try today to see if it works with iPads.

eta: I think for iPhones and iPads you need to have Flash access. PHOTON is a flash app for that & is $3.99. I guess I'll stick to my computer.

 

I second what Courtney said. I didn't attend earlier sessions of Watch Cheryl Scrap because I wasn't interested in watching someone else scrap. I want to scrap myself! When I finally decided to join in I found it was a fun chat time with digiscrap friends. I've learned some things too -- most importantly how to make a shadow its own layer for more manipulation, which I had to watch a few times before I got it -- but the reason I return is to hang out with digi friends.

I won't be home for a couple of this month's sessions, but I hope to make it to a couple others.

p.s. I'm also grateful to whoever suggested we use Adobe Connect because hearing voices adds to the experience, and now we also have Game Time!

 

After a really, really, really long time of trying to get this to work for me again (it used to and then stopped...) I messed with it this morning until it worked! I don't know what my log-in name is going to be because the screen to type that in isn't coming up, but I'll be there!

Cheryl- i am shocked you are going to be on during the Alabama/Clemson game! I hope to pop in, but i wont be able to chat much as i will be watching the game! Roll Tide!!

 

Oops, I missed the very end after I got called to change a nappy (eye rolls... 2nd child, 2-yr old.... )

 

Aw man! I had to step out because my 7 year old wouldn't stop chasing the dog! It was so loud here!

 

Loved it! Oh man, Cheryl makes it look just so easy!! She is such a natural scrapper
