Courtney (bestcee) asked and I tried to answer, LOL. A little video on how to blend a photo is up on the blog. It includes a cameo by my youngest son so you really must watch it. I know this tip is short and simple, but I am a simple person. I hope to come back later with some more advance techniques but this will get you a basic blend! Enjoy. And please holler with questions. Let me know how you do it if different, and I'd LOVE to see your blend. https://the-lilypad.com/quick-tip-video-tutorial-photo-blending/
I love it cos it reminded me of me !!! LOL !!! Plus I use the word "thingy" on a regular basis. That is why I always do a rehearsal before I am satisfied with the tutorial video.
I wanna share a lil titbit I've found while learning to use this tutorial. I want to blend all 4 sides of the photo onto the paper. And I discovered that I can make the blending permanent before moving onto the next one. And these are my steps. 1. I will follow Jen's steps. 2. select the photo thumbnail to do some light erasing. 3. Select the masking tool in the thumbnail and repeat Jen's steps. => at this point, I notice that the blending will show my new area 4. I will repeat #2 & #3 until I see the effects I want.
Uh oh .... I just did another round of blending. And found out that the "permanent" blending is due to my erasing. Not the technique The only way to make the blending permanent and do another blending is to apply the 1st mask to the photo. Sorry, ladies. A big doo-doo error on my part.
