It’s Pollywog Brittany here, and I’ve got quite a challenge for you this morning! First I’d like to congratulate our winner from last week’s scraplift challenge, sagerchatter! Congratulations!
This week I was inspired by the children’s book The Chicken Chasing Queen of Lamar County by Janice N. Harrington. The illustrator, Shelley Jackson, did an amazing job of using all types of media to tell the story. I am constantly awed by people that think outside of the box with their art. Here are a few of my favorite images from the book:
The title and word art automatically made me think of Amy M.’s newspaper alphas; lots of painted pictures made me think of Jacque’s designs. My challenge this week is to use this book as a source of inspiration. My personal inspiration is the texture, so I went through the TLP boutique and picked a few things that have amazing texture…there were so many to choose from! Have fun creating a layout using all sorts of various TLP products. 🙂
