Spring Pages
Spring is the start of my favorite time of year, the time of longer days, more colorful scenery and outdoor adventures. I always get an extra special bit of happiness when I see spring themed pages in the gallery. This month the journaling challenge is about “spring” and the gallery is overflowing with pretty spring pages!
For me, spring brings to mind Easter, budding trees, cherry blossom trees and tulips. I have a tulip in my garden that has just broken throught the soil and I eagerly await its blooming. The birds come all year round to our suet feeder on our back porch but they start to come more frequently, starting at the end of March, and nothing is more peaceful and entertaining, in the morning time, as I drink my coffee and read my book, to look out and watch the flurry of activity as the birds come and go, chasing each other away from the feeder.
Spring means something different to each of us but generally it evokes a feeling of light, hope, renewal and regrowth. The weather warms up, the sun shines longer into the afternoon and nature becomes more pleasing. I really enjoy getting outdoors with my camera to capture some of the beauty of spring.
Here are some beautiful spring pages by some of The Lilypad members, to inspire you. These lovelies were created by mimisgirl, lou, enjoyyourpix and soco.

I was inspired to create a spring page of the dogs, using some of the fabulous BYOC goodies released this weekend.

Think about what spring is like in your area and what it means to you. Check out the amazing kits available at The Lilypad for spring page design; you can find them in the “Shop By Season” section of the store. I look forward to seeing what spring pages you create!
