September Challenges
Hello everyone! It’s Polly Karen here bringing you an at a glance peek at all of the new challenges for this September. Based on our percentage system, you can earn three levels of coupons for the store just by participating in our challenges. In addition to the coupon, if you complete all 7 challenges within the month of September, you will be entered in a drawing to win a one month guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! This month we are once again offering TWO guest spots. The discounts available are as follows: 2 challenges = 10% off, 4 challenges = 20% off and 6 challenges = 30% off. Now let’s take a look at the new challenges:
1. One Word Challenge – Julie (mrs2a50) is hosting this month’s One Word Challenge and has picked the word “Change” for September. All you have to do to complete this challenge is use the word “Change” in your title. Here is an example created by Julie:
2. Scrapliift Challenge – The host for September’s Scraplift Challenge is Dana and she has decided to challenge you to pick a page from Melissa Mann’s gallery filled with paper pages and create a paper-t0-digi scraplifted version of your own. Below is the page Dana selected from Melissa’s gorgeous gallery followed by Dana’s scraplifted version:

3. Journaling Challenge – The host for this month’s Journaling Challenge is Heather (HeatherB). This month, Heather wants you to focus on journaling about something important to you or something you are passionate about. Here is a sample layout created by Heather about something she is passionate about, encouraging her children to read:
4. Random Challenge – Heather (talktoheather) is this month’s host of the Random Challenge. She wants you to create a layout and keep everything on your page on the edge of the page. To get you started, here is a layout created by Heather “on the edge”:
5. Product Challenge – The Product Challenge for September is hosted by Amanda (gracielou). Amanda has picked Mixed Media products for you to play with this month. With the introduction of the M3 subscription plan, this is a perfect excuse to play with some gorgeous mixed media products. Here is a layout created by Amanda with some gorgeous mixed media products:
6. Template Challenge – Amanda (MandaKay) is hosting this month’s template challenge. This month Valorie Wibbens generously made a free template for everyone to play with. You simple have to download her gorgeous template and create a layout using it. Below is the template (image linked) followed by Amanda’s layout using the template:
7. BYOC Challenge – Last but certainly not least is the BYOC Challenge. September’s BYOC Challenge will be posted to the forum on Friday, September 5th (tomorrow) when all the new BYOC Products for September will be released in the store. This challenge, hosted by Renee (renee82), is to use 90% of the products on your page from the current BYOC collection and from at least 3 designers.

There you have your at a glance look at the new challenges for September. Now you can go create your own layouts inspired by these challenge and then post them to the appropriate galleries as listed above.
