New Products Tuesday & Spring Break Challenge

Good Tuesday morning to you all!  MandaKay here, bringing you this week’s Tuesday specials and also the new challenge!

Kate is bringing back these special treat toppers just in time for Easter! I used them treat toppers last year to give treats to my nieces and nephews and they were adorable!

:::CHALLENGE:::

The challenge for this week is to scrap about Spring Break.  It can be a past spring break experience, a spring break wish list, a spring break catastrophe, anything you wish that may be spring break related.  Do you stay home at spring break? Do you have a spring break tradition?  Maybe you don’t get to have a spring break so scrap that!  The requirements for this weeks challenge is to scrap a LO using 75% The-Lilypad goodness.  Please upload the LO to this gallery, and then leave us a comment with the link to your LO here in this blog post!   A winner will be chosen next week and will recieve a $5 TLP gift certificate!  Come play along – let’s see what you did or are doing for Spring Break!

I’m a creative who pulls inspiration from all corners of life—both the joyful highs and the real-life moments that punch you in the gut. Honestly, I don’t think I can pin down a single scrapbooking style for myself, so let’s just go with eclectic. My layouts really depend on my mindset. If I’m in a deep, cerebral mood, you’ll likely see something chaotic and messy. If I’m more relaxed, it tends to come out clean, simple, and structured.

My brain is usually running on several channels at once, so it’s completely normal for me to be working on a digital layout, dabbling in a hybrid project, and getting messy with art journaling or mixed media—all at the same time.

Here are a few of my go-to tools: Digital: Adobe Photoshop CC + my MacBook; Photos: Canon Rebel or iPhone; Hybrid: Cricut Joy + sewing machine; Art Journaling: watercolors, stencils, and artsticks

And when it comes to embellishments—digital or physical—I’m always reaching for messy threads, ribbons, and Polaroids. Always the Polaroids.
