May Challenges
Happy iNSD everyone! I hope that you’ve had as much fun as I have playing and shopping and scrapping to celebrate interNational Scrapbook Day this past weekend. It’s Polly Karen here bringing you a look at all the new monthly challenges posted to the forum on May 1st. Based on our percentage system, you can earn three levels of coupons for the store just by participating in our challenges. In addition to the coupon, if you complete all 7 challenges within the month of May, you will be entered in a drawing to win a one month guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! This month we are once again offering TWO guest spots. The discounts available are as follows: 2 challenges = 10% off, 4 challenges = 20% off and 6 challenges = 30% off. Now let’s take a look at the new challenges:
1. Random Challenge – Amanda (MandaKay) is hosting the Random Challenge this month and has come up with a super fun game of scrappy TicTacToe. You have to use Amanda’s TicTacToe board shown below and pick any three items in a row to form your TicTacToe of items you must use on your page.
2. Product Challenge – The Product Challenge for May is hosted by Heather (talktoheather) and she has selected Kraft as the product to play with this month. Heather created the following layout to kickstart your creativity:
3. BYOC Challenge – Heather (HeatherB) is hosting May’s BYOC Challenge. The challenge is to use 90% of the products on your page from the current BYOC collection and from at least 3 designers. Here is a gorgeous sample created by Heather:
4. One Word Challenge – The One Word Challenge for May is hosted by Dana. She has selected the word Crazy for this month’s challenge. Since Dana is in the middle of packing and moving, she thought this was appropriate for the month!
5. Template Challenge – This month’s Template Challenge is hosted by Amanda (gracielou) and the free template to scrap with is once again supplied by the fabulous Amy Martin. To complete this challenge simply download the free template and scrap a page with it. Click on the image below to get the template.
6. Journaling Challenge – The Journaling Challenge for May is hosted by Julie (mrs2a50) and she want you to find inspiration from the super fun and catchy song “Happy” by Pharrell. She wants you to journal about what makes you happy. Here is a gorgeous sample layout created by Julie to get you started:
7. Scraplift Challenge – Renee (renee82) is hosting the Scraplift Challenge for May. Renee has selected the very talented Maribel (mrphoto) to scraplift. Simply browse Maribel’s gorgeous gallery and pick one layout that inspires you. Then you create a scraplifted version of her page.
