March Challenges

It’s Karen here with another new month of fabulous challenges at The Lilypad.  This month’s challenges do not disappoint either.  Every month the Polly’s come up with such inspiring ideas and it shows!  Last month we had 46 participants in our challenges!   That is so exciting!  I am REALLY hoping we can hit the big 50 this month!

There are 7 challenges again this month.  As usual the more challenges you complete, the bigger coupon you earn! 2 challenges = 10% off, 4 challenges = 20% off and 6 challenges = 30% off! On top of those fabulous rewards, if you finish all 7 challenges you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Creative Team. That means you could be a Polly for a month!   Here are the challenges to get your creative juices flowing!

1.  Random Challenge – Color:  Julie (mrs2a50) is hosting this month’s color challenge and decided to keep us on our toes!  I figured she’d pick green, but nope!  She challenging you to by BOLD and try a page that focuses on orange.  Your finished pages can be uploaded to the Random Challenge Gallery.  Here is a sample page from Julie:

2.  Scraplift Challenge:  The scraplift challenge this month is hosted by Michelle (mishou).  She chose the lovely Cristina’s gallery to lift from.  You can upload your lifted pages to the Scraplift Challenge Gallery.  Michelle chose this page to lift:

3.  Product Challenge – Papers:  Our Product Challenge this month is being hosted by Dana.  She choose papers as the product to focus on for her challenge and wants you to use one solid background paper and then use at least four patterned papers somewhere on your page.  Your completed layouts for this challenge can be uploaded to the Product Challenge Gallery.  Here is a sample page by Dana:

4.  Template Challenge:  Renee (renee82) is your host for this month’s template challenge.  The lovely Amy Martin has generously provided another fabulous free template for us to use for this challenge.    You can find the template here.  Your layouts using this template should be posted in the Template Challenge Gallery.  Here is a look at this month’s template:

6.  BYOC Challenge:  The host for our BYOC challenge this month is Heather (HeatherB).  Once again the designers have rocked another BYOC (Build Your Own Collab) collection and your challenge is to scrap a page using products from at least three designers and 90% BYOC products.  Upload your BYOC pages to the BYOC Challenge Gallery.  Here is a sample page from Heather:

7. Journaling Challenge:   The final challenge this month is the journaling challenge hosted by Heather (talktoheather).  She challenges you to scrap about a time when you overcame a fear, challenge or obstacle.  Post your completed layouts in the Journaling Challenge Gallery.  Here is a sample page from Heather:

You have until March 31st to complete these challenges.  There are a few notes to remember while doing pages for these challenges. Your pages must contain at least 75% TLP products and you must do a unique page for each challenge.  Do not combine one page for two challenges.  Once you complete your page, be sure to post it in the appropriate gallery and then back in the challenge thread too so we can leave you some love!  We also ask that you post all of your complete challenge pages in the THIS THREAD so we make sure to get you the correct coupon at the end of the month.  If you have any other questions about the challenges, see the Challenge Guidelines thread HERE!  Have fun!

I can’t wait to see what everyone creates this month!   Keep an eye out for my post near the end of the month where I’ll feature my favorite pages from each challenge here on the blog.  See you then!
