Hello, howdy and hey there! Julie B. here with this week’s Lilypad scrap challenge! How was everyone’s weekend? I hope it was filled with fun times, good things and lots of scrapping! Last week, Brittany gave us a super spectacular BYOC challenge, and you guys cranked out some amazing pages! But the winner of the gift certificate was …
jindrucha!
Fantastic job! Please contact thelilypad_customerservice@yahoo.com to claim your gift certificate.
Ever see something non-scrap related that just makes you want to run for your computer and get working on a page? This week, I have an art piece that I hope will make you do exactly that! I want to see your interpretation of this:
How you interpret this piece into a scrap page is totally up to you! Maybe you’re drawn to the colors? Or maybe the design is what you really like? Or maybe even both! There are no scrap rules with this piece – just what you see when you look at it! However, even though we’re not spotlighting a specific item, your layout must contain at least 25% of Lilypad product in order to be considered a part of the challenge. As usual, post your layouts to the Lilypad Challenge Gallery and then post your gallery link in the comments section of the blog. Any layout that doesn’t conform to the rules of the challenge will be removed from the gallery, and direct links to any non-TLP product are not allowed. Just some things to keep in mind as your creativity takes you over!
The really fun part of this challenge? The Lilypad CT members weren’t the only ones who were inspired by this artwork. Amy Wolff felt something from this piece too, and created a fabulous paperpack for you to work with, if you want!
How gorgeous are those papers?? She’s got them up in the store for only $1, so grab them – quick!
