Oh my goodness you guys I’m so sorry that I’m getting to you so late in the day! Internet issues, oy! Polly Lauren here and we’re so excited for today. As always we have fab deals today, a new challenge and a new designer! Oh? You don’t know who that designer is? Oh. Well…I can’t really tell you…yet…hold on…

First our great deals!

Now on to this week’s challenge. It’s pretty simple. Fill in this statement, “If I had ______________ I would _________________.” This must be the title of your page and the only other thing is – remember to use at least 75% TLP goodies!

Oh…and that new designer…um…I really can’t tell you outright – but some of the pollys have hidden clues in their layouts. Some of the new designers materials are on their layout. And if you think you know who it is, drop us a line at thelilypad_customerservice@yahoo dot com with simply “designer guess one” in the subject line and the first correct guess will when a gift certificate to her store! woot! She’ll officially debut this Friday!

Polly Lauren

I’m a creative who pulls inspiration from all corners of life—both the joyful highs and the real-life moments that punch you in the gut. Honestly, I don’t think I can pin down a single scrapbooking style for myself, so let’s just go with eclectic. My layouts really depend on my mindset. If I’m in a deep, cerebral mood, you’ll likely see something chaotic and messy. If I’m more relaxed, it tends to come out clean, simple, and structured.

My brain is usually running on several channels at once, so it’s completely normal for me to be working on a digital layout, dabbling in a hybrid project, and getting messy with art journaling or mixed media—all at the same time.

Here are a few of my go-to tools: Digital: Adobe Photoshop CC + my MacBook; Photos: Canon Rebel or iPhone; Hybrid: Cricut Joy + sewing machine; Art Journaling: watercolors, stencils, and artsticks

And when it comes to embellishments—digital or physical—I’m always reaching for messy threads, ribbons, and Polaroids. Always the Polaroids.
