What's the weirdest thing...

you've ever found in your kids' rooms? I heard this question on the radio today and some of the answers were hilarious.

Mine is totally disgusting and I am sure my DD would be humiliated if she knew I was sharing it. LOL When she was 5, she went through a major nose picking phase. Deeeelightful. Anyways, one day, I was doing a bit of spring cleaning and moved her bed to wipe down the walls and baseboard. I found probably every booger from the last few months stuck to the wall below her mattress. A horrific piece of booger art. YUCK!

What have you found?
 
Um... my 7 YO got busted doing the same thing about two months ago. GAG! I made him clean it because I was so disgusted and wanted to make sure he NEVER does that again. It took him quite awhile. :)
 
oh that is so gross.... o_o

Ce's a hoarder ... most of the things i find in his room are odd just bc I'm like.. wth kid? why?? like.. stealing and hiding my electric bills.. or my hair accessories.. random empty cereal boxes that sort of thing. I don't get it :p He's got a problem.
 
This was in the basement, but...

There's an empty bookshelf down there that we brought home from my grandmother's house. One time I found a (human) turd, on the second from the top shelf.

OMG Angie!! seriously??

My DD left a half eaten small red lollypop on her windowsill once, in summer.
 
That's disgusting but oh so hilarious, Laura! I would have been gagging the whole time cleaning, or better yet made her clean it up. :giggle
 
Nothing too weird or disgusting, but my husband was missing the leather cover for his fish filleting knife and I found it months later in my son's playroom. He was playing with it as a sword. Weird kid.
 
I had a smell upstairs near the boys bathroom. It smelled like urine, but I could NOT find where it was coming from. Finally, one day I found a small jar of pee tucked away in a cupboard. This was a gift from my third son. The smell was beyond horrible by this point.

He used to leave us special messages written in feces too on the glass shower door. He liked to sign them with his younger brother's name though...which we knew couldn't be him, because that particular son couldn't barely even wipe his own butt because it grossed him out so much.

Should I go on? Oh...boogers! Yes, thank you Laura. I forgot about those. He liked to sit in the back of our mini van, so the back of one of the middle head rests was covered in them, and they were discovered by a friend who was climbing in the back to ride with us. Thanks Patrick!

oh yes, the stories go on and on with that boy!!
 
a box of tissues shredded behind her bed. Endless pieces of chewed gum. I find many dishes and silverware in there on the floor too. My kid is cleaning challenged. lol
 
We seem to have any treasures ie: ipod, DS, etc. fall behind the beds.

We have not had the boogers, I guess I'm lucky - or I've just not discovered it yet...
LOL prolly the later, since I have THREE boys, lol

I found a piece of pizza with one bite taken out of it under the couch once, and that
was pretty gross, lol.
 
Nothing weird that I can think of and definitely nothing gross. My daughter is a neat freak. I have no idea where she gets that from.

OMG Ang! So funny!

A few months ago I found a meatball behind the boys drawers. It was covered in ants. Which was actually a good thing as they led me to it...I may not have found it otherwise for a very long time.

Our kitchen table has a bench seat with storage in it. I found 4 half eaten sandwiches in it once. Once I called her out on it, she stopped.

Just last week I had occasion to say "why is there a saltine at the top of the stairs?"

I could write a book of these.
 
My DS2 would pick his nose and leave the boogers on the wall. Yeah, we went to move the bunkbeds and there they were....just staring at us! Needless to say, he had to wash the wall and we had to paint. I'm still disgusted to this day!
 
OMG! This thread is killing me! Boogers and turds! LOL! (Although, I honestly don't have anything to add.) :-)
