What do you do while on Hold

I hate being on hold… drives me batty. Currently on hold and decided now is a great time to make some tzatziki sauce for dinner.

Generally when I’m on hold, I’m always finding something to do to use my time efficiently.

What about you?

I like to lay in bed lol

When I want to be productive I clean the microwave or dust or do any cleaning task that only requires one hand and isn’t loud.
 
Man, I just hate talking on the phone in general! I avoid it at all costs to be honest. When I have to be on hold, I'm usually reading a book.
 
I hate being on hold. My husband has no patience so it's always me. I put it on speaker and do something while I wait - watch a youtube video, digiscrap, knit.
 
I generally put my phone on speakerphone & do something else
 
Like a lot of others, I doodle ( do that when my sister phones me - she can talk!) and I will play computer games ( not while talking to my sister).
 
I am usually on hold when I use my land line if I have to contact some kind of customer service and such. Therefore I am in front of my computer so I can easily scrap, browse or design. I hate waiting for nothing lol
 
Generally walk around, like laps of the house, feeling annoyed but at least increasing my step count
 
I hate talking on the phone and avoid it whenever possible. The last time I had to be on hold was with the bank when my son's Paypal got hacked and he had several fraudulent charges to his debit card. He called the bank to put a stop on his account and we waited for over an hour on hold... I was so annoyed that the fraud department took so long to answer! Finally we logged onto his account figured out how to pause his card ourselves and hung up. BUT, at least that time I had my son to talk to the whole time.

If it's just me, I make sure to have my airpods in so I don't have to hold the stupid phone to my head for that long!
 
I don't call anyone except at work, so when I'm on hold (usually with our home office), I'll just work on other stuff 'til they come back on the line.
 
I will have the phone on speaker and be on the pc as well.
It's the loudness of their inane music that seriously ticks me off.
 
My phone barely works in my house so I have to pace the background when I'm on hold. It is... not great but I don't have any other options.
 
I don't mind being on short holds. Long ones I hang up, or if there's feature for them to call back when they have an opening I use that
