I know it's already Saturday for some of my peeps, so feel free to share what you did!

We have a gorgeous weekend starting. DH of course has to work Saturday. So my agenda for the weekend is nothing! Glorious nothing! I'm going to get a walk in tomorrow. But other than that I'm thinking maybe hit the park?

What's up for your weekend?

Not entirely sure what Jeff and I will be up to, but the kids will be going in and out of our "revolving door". Alex works tonight, Saturday and Sunday night. Clara is at the senior high youth lock-in at church tonight, wants to go her school's graduation ceremony tomorrow morning and has to babysit tomorrow night. She also performs at Six Flags on Sunday. Jeff is trying to readjust from being in London and Switzerland all week. We'll probably watch some movies, if he can stay awake :giggle

We just got home from a baseball game a little while ago. I guess I will clean up the house and do some laundry tomorrow before the next game tomorrow evening. Other than that, I hope to get some scrapping done and enjoy some time outside! I need to get a few more flowers for my deck and flower beds :)

I planned to scrap tonight, but I read my user manual for my camera. It had been several years and I learned a few tricks. I think I am going to take photos tomorrow to practice. I also need to pull weeds. Hubby is working on rental properties so he will be gone all day, so I get to do whatever I want.

so far it's been resting and relaxing, thinking I might go to the movies tomorrow but I'll see as I need to do laundry first once the weather has cleared enough for me to line dry the class thes

We're up at the cabin for the long weekend and it looks as if we're going to have some great weather. We got out in the kayaks today for the first time this year and it was beautiful on the lake.

today i went back to bed after a while to read, i haven't got to do that in a while so it was good - but i fell asleep and now i just feel out of it and all time warped- the kids got a few Dr Who episodes in back to back without me going on about screens and homework/assignments so i think for the most part they had a good Sat too LOL BUt it looks like tomorrow will be a bunch of assignments and trying to get them to focus thru the day so it's not another last minute Sun night homework panic

Since it's almost 1 am here, I really should have been multi tasking by doing laundry in the peace and quiet, but I didn't think I'd be up this late.

I REALLY need to get to Sam's Club tomorrow...trying to decide if I should go alone, or drag everyone with me??? Other than that, we don't have anything planned.

well change of plans, a friend has an extra ticket to go to a healthy lifestyle expo so that's what i'll be doing tomorrow instead of going to the movies.

I decided to hold a garage sale today and I'm currently sitting in my garage, wondering where the nice weather they predicted has gone... cuz it took garage sale customers with it. :( I have so much nice stuff to sell and I don't want to drag it back inside or haul it to goodwill. I'd give this stuff away of anyone would just show up!

I passed out yesterday at 10. That's early bedtime for me, even on days I need to work the day after. I was just soooo tired and done with things. And I slept wonderfully! Woke up at 9, stayed in bed checking up on social media and stuff. Read a bit. Got up and scrapped. Had food at like 2. Watched 2 episodes of Dawsons Creek (I'm totally rewatching one of my fav tv shows from my teen years). Did some light cleaning/tidying. And now I'm here.
I just embraced that I needed me-time and I am enjoying it much more then if I would have had expectations of today. You know?

We were going to be away for 4 days at our trailer in WA but hubs got the flu and had a high fever so we stayed home and he's been laid out in his lazy boy chair. The weather is gorgeous (finally) so aside from desk work, paper work, chores and groceries, I plan to take Taz for a long walk and maybe go visit my daughter for coffee later. Tonight I am going to scrap and binge watch some shows. I miss my PC today, I brought it in yesterday for repairs and probably won't get it back til later in the week. I don't mind scrapping on my small computer upstairs but its not as large or fast as my main PC. Oh well, better than nothing. I'm going to make a new recipe today too, some keto friendly crackers.

Friday night my son had try-outs for the Little League Tournament team which my husband took him to. My daughter was in the musical at her school, so my aunt, my youngest son, and I went to see that. This morning, both my boys had 10 am Little League games. Right now, my husband and father in law are watching my daughter's second performance of the play she is in, School House Rock Live Jr. My aunt knew some of the songs from the tv show; but i never heard of it. It was cute, though.

I'm just relaxing a bit at home with my boys for now. I have a mountain of dishes to do then. I have to work at the nursing home tomorrow.

That sounds wonderful!

@3BluEyedBabies How Cool! I've heard some of the songs, but not all of them. I didn't know it was a musical!

@bcgal00 Good luck with the new recipe! I hope it turns out great!
@Tree City Boo on the weather! What did you decide to do? Haul it back in and reschedule?

@janedee That sounds lovely! I hope you have a relaxing time!

today i went back to bed after a while to read
Also lovely. What are you reading?

By yourself. That should always be the answer about grocery stores when possible!

a friend has an extra ticket to go to a healthy lifestyle expo
Sounds cool! I hope you enjoy it!

@bestcee I stuck it out. I didn't sell a ton of stuff but the weather sllloooooowwwllllyy cleared up and I sold the big things (like, the BIG items that each one on its own would have taken up my whole car to bring to goodwill). Plus I met a few of my neighbors who stopped to shop, so it was a win even if I didn't make a ton of money. :) DH asked if I wanted to do another sale next weekend but I started packing up my car for a goodwill donation after the sale officially ended. If it doesn't belong in my house then it is NOT going back inside lol!

My daughter's Theater On Ice team participated in a critique down in Richmond today. We left at 6:15 am and got back home at 4:00. It was a fun, but very long, day for everyone. I'm ready not to go anywhere tomorrow, except for church.

Daniel's birthday isn't until June, but he wanted to have his birthday party before the end of the school year because every year many of his friends are traveling and can't come. So we did the same thing as last year . . . we had the boys come to the house and then we drove to my mom's yard for them to have a NERF battle. I took some photos and then went inside with my mom to sew. We didn't end up sewing, but listened to music and chatted. About 8:00, we came back home and I put the boys in the shower, one in the front and one in the back, and set 5 minute timers. Boy-oh-boy, were those kiddos smelly! LOL So in 15 minutes, everyone was showered and all the towels and clothes were in the washing machine. We had present opening after that, followed by singing and blowing out the candles.

Hubby and I went to the bedroom about 10. He brought my chair and ottoman that I've been sleeping in since December into the bedroom. I read and surfed my phone and chatted with hubby. We fell asleep about 11. I was up at midnight, 1 am, 3 am, 5 am . . . it was a long night that way. The boys were very good, but um, someone went to the bathroom and they had to wake us up at 3 am because they clogged the toilet. It was funny and a good giggle at first, until it took hubby and I about 20-30 minutes to get it clear.

I spent the morning in the bedroom reading and sleeping, and then got up for a bite to eat and then returned to the bedroom again. It was much more relaxing for me to just check out and not see my house in a mess. The boys didn't break anything (except for the toilet temporarily) but they did have chairs and blankets and pillows and candy wrappers and soda cans and bottles everywhere! We have gotten everything back to zero again, with the floors vacuumed and dishes washed, etc.

It's now 3:30 pm and everyone left 30 minutes ago. I'm now prepared to scrap the afternoon and evening away! Tomorrow will be more of the same, relaxing and scrapping (I hope!)
