Week 1 - Show off your bunk

Here's my messy studio**. A great view of my birds out front. My laptop, my printer, my scanner and printing supplies are all nearby. To the right in the photo is a wall rack filled with instructional books for scrapbooking, Photoshop, art journaling. It's all quite compact, but it works for me. Oh, I noticed some mending in a basket in the lower left corner. Does anyone want to help me with that? LOL.

** Disclaimer. It is obvious I didn't tidy up for this photo.

Your bookshelf with all those books is swoon worthy as is your view . . love this, thank you so much for sharing!! I can't help with your mending but i'll take any scrap fabrics for my art projects :lol:lol

I love seeing you!! Thanks for including you in the photo! Love your lap tray and you look really comfy! Great to know of another affinity scrapper, it's becoming quite popular. Who's the little guy who's face planted next to you?!
Here is is Rachel

How timely, as I spent yesterday cleaning my office/desk. I had a big pile of stuff that needed to be put in the right storage spaces & file cabinet! I am lucky enough to have an entire room for all my craftiness & decor storage. My desk functions as the central storage hub & then I have a big ikea cube system behind me that stores all the paper crafting, seasonal decorations & miscellaneous crafting & decor supplies. I also have my great grandma's china cabinet that I painted bright blue that holds a lot of decor & my stamping supplies. I LOVE having 3 monitors when I scrap so that I have all my folders up on one screen, PS CC on the middle & then my supply previews on the 3rd screen. Sometimes I have a tv show up that I'm watching while I scrap too- but mostly I listen to audiobooks while scrapping.

Here's my setup!

Oh gosh!! I love your set up, all your little baskets by your desk area and your lovely ikea storage, and that dresser . . . be still my heart!! Hello Cooper, you are too cute!!

I use a desktop because I like to have a proper mouse and large screen. I scrap using PSE 2024. My set is nothing special, but I like it because I have a standing desk. My desk is always covered with multiple notebooks, where I keep track of my layouts, challenges and CT stuff. I keep my habit tracker there too.

I also do any crafts here. It's not ideal, but with the limited space I make do! There is a whole separate area where I keep actual physical supplies.

What is your current workspace or desktop setup, what program do you use to scrap and do you have a routine?
Here's a photo my oldest "clipped" me in recently at one of my scrap spots - the kitchen table

I scrap using GIMP on a Mac laptop (pictured). I prefer sitting on the couch sideways with my feet up on the couch but also sit at the kitchen table (pictured) or stand at my desk in my bedroom (on a nice, cushioned mat or a treadmill). I don't have much of a routine; I scrap when my daughter isn't asking me to drive her around town lol

I have a desk setup in the basement that I use for work (my laptop), but I also have a desktop with 3 screens that I use for scrapping. This is my current setup, it is pretty dusty and needs a good tidy up, but here it is in all its glory:

I usually create in the daytime before I start work. I like to work in peace and quiet so no music or podcasts for me. Do you have anything else around you whilst your work such as comfort items, pets or snacks? I have a current picture of my boys on my desk and a snacklebox filled with different treats handy. My pup comes to me with a ball to throw while I am working, so I am usually trying to scrap, then throw the ball, then back to scrapping, then back to throwing the ball. This would go on for hours if I let it!
A little envious of the three screens! At work, I have two, so can only imagine how nice it would be to have two or three for scrapping!

My "bunk" is literally my BUNK! I scrap with my laptop on my LAP in my bed! Usually have something playing on my iPad with a diet Coke at the ready, and my favorite blanket covering my feet and legs. I'm definitely loyal to Adobe PSCC. I used PhotoPea when I was scrapping on a Chromebook for a a year or so, but when I came back to scrapping more regularly, I upgraded my laptop and my photo software. Couldn't be happier!

Thanks for sharing your lovely space with us! My son would love that desk, he loves to stand and it looks like you're a fan of cookies too!

Brilliant that you have different areas of the house you can take your portable laptop and fit around your family, we caught you checking TLP forum on your phone :) Thanks for sharing sweetie!

This is my space to scrap and design.
I made this page for MOC 2023 and apart from the current mess it hasn't changed since then. I need to clean up my desk so I can go back to that purer form :lmao

That's gorgeous Nini, it doesn't stay tidy for long though does it . .

I'm currently surrounded by squishmallow colouring books, the kids ipads on charge and have a marble run next to my feet, cramped is not the word for it!

Well, you win for having the comfiest set up! You might win for having the prettiest bedding too!! Love this :)

My craft room/office is a disaster, I’m in the middle of gutting it and redesigning… like what have I started? LOL
I still have space for my chair and desk for my computer to play though :)
That stage of causing chaos and a mess that you have to battle through, it will be worth it! What type of redesign are you doing? Glad to hear that you can still have your computer set up amongst the madness though, yay!

I scrap in a corner of a room called an office with Photoshop and an Apple computer, my printer is in another room with a Mac book pro just in case my iMac breaks down. The television is on, the sound at the lowest level and in the evening to relax I like to play a solitary game.
I have to be careful because Nuage, my pussy, is always ready to jump on the desk and get settled on the keyboard and play with the mouse.
I create at any time of the day if I am inspired.
My space is a little messy, but I can still find my way around

I’m going through my stuff and getting rid of some, need to go through my paint and probably toss several that are dried out at the bottom of the drawer. The room has become one of those ‘let’s toss it in here’ kind of spaces LOL
I have some rolling drawers that need gone through and a book shelf.
I have too much stuff (said no scrapper ever!) and need to tone it down a bit. It gets overwhelming when I want to play! And I’ve been craving lots of play time!
I can’t wait till it’s done!
