Watch your kiddos and hug them tight...

Thank you for these updates Becky!! Miracles happen. I continue to lift prayers for her and her family!!!

Thank you for the updates Becky. I hope knowing about these extra prayers is helping them in some small way.

How are your kids doing? Are they asking about it? Traumatized? Or did they not really know what was going on?

My boys seem to be doing okay. I seem way more traumatized by it than they do. When it happened though, I just went into 'gotta somehow protect my kids' mode (there were others on the phone to 911) and did my best to make sure they were turned away, we went over to our little corner and prayed. Then grabbed as many other kids as we could and turned them away from it too. We prayed, we sang Jesus Loves Me, just tried to distract as much as possible.

I have tried to use it as an opportunity to stress HOW important it is for them to stay with us, to listen to us, etc. We are just trying to protect them.

The latest that I have heard is that the neuro surgeon said that she is not "brain dead" and is responding to some stimuli so that indicates some function. and that it is now up to God and Rosalie.

Oh Becky that's so horrible :( I am praying for that sweet girl. Jack fell in the pool once when he was about 1 1/2 and thank god I got to him in time (I just turned around for a minute) but it was the scariest thing I have ever seen. He was blue when I pulled him out but started coughing and crying right away. He and Emma both learned to swim that fall....I will never, ever forget that feeling.

Oh, that's terrible Kelly. I'm so glad you got to him in time.

Becky - that sounds like quick thinking on your part, a great way for you to help them handle it.
