We were at a community pool this morning with some friends and witnessed a little 2-3yr old girl be pulled from the pool not breathing. She is in VERY critical condition. It is easily the most horrific thing that I have ever witnessed.


I am praying for a miracle and for this little one's mother, who i am sure, turned her back for only an instant...
 
So sad.. that is my worst nightmare. I hope she'll be ok.
 
Ugh horrible, my worst nightmare! I am super super paranoid about this. Just makes me sick to think about!
 
Oh, my. That would be horrific. Prayers for the little girl and her family.
 
That's so tragic. Keep us posted if/when you hear anything. That family must be heartbroken.
 
It is so horrible. I can't even imagine being there and seeing it. Makes me feel ill. One of my dear friends lost her 9 year old son to drowning. :(
 
my heart is aching for the family right now. I hope and pray everything is ok.

I know it is something you'll never forget either...
 
omg that's the scariest thing ever. There are 2 pools at my MIL and I always get so freaked out when my boys go there without me. I have already signed them up in swimming classes because I want them to be able to go back to the surface if they happened to fall into the pool.
 
Oh my goodness I am praying for them :( This is why I am super scared/paranoid/obsessive at the pool with my kiddos. It is just so sad, and it happens pretty often too.
 
How awful! Here in Florida, it happens a couple of times a year and I'm always heartsick. I do hope that the child improves. Kids are resilient.
 
Makes my stomach churn just thinking about it. So sorry you had to witness that. Praying for the little girl and her parents!
 
Must have been so horrible to witness that. I hope she pulls through. Thinking of her and her family.
