Want some CC?

Yup, must say that page is pretty fantastic, Leslie, and really would be just fine with no changes! Approaching it from the "if it were my page" viewpoint, the only thing I'd probably do different is a subtle adjustment to the positioning of the two green blocks. I'd nudge one up a little and the other down a bit, and I'd slightly tweak the angle of them so that they feel a bit more random and less a mirror image of each other. If that makes sense.

I do like Julie's suggestion of trying a toned b&w for more warmth. Maybe play with a few different ones and see what clicks with the page colours.

it so cool to read everyone's suggestions! and yep - great page leslie!

i do like julie's suggestion re. the treatment of the picture ...

and i was also thinking the same thing as joan re. the positioning of the green blocks - it might look good to have them angled a bit differently ...

and i feel like a complete doofus offering ANY cc - LOL - since all these pages are much better than anything i'm producing today - LOL - i can't get anything to work!

oh i think your page is fab, Leslie although i do like the suggestion of warming up the photo. If it were my page, I probably wouldn't have that horizontal stitching going through the photo but that's a more weird hang up than a design thing I guess? I try to avoid having stitches, staples, etc going through people (although I've probably done it lol).

Yep, I agree with most with the warming of the photo... I think it will make your page shine even more! This is an amazing page, my dear!

you ladies completely rock! peppermint, i don't know how i missed that page of yours. it's terrific! thank you all so much for the CC. it was so great to get some real feedback. :wub here is the edited version.

Ooh what a fabulous thread.

I've loved seeing the revised versions of the pages--just the perfect touches!

I'll be brave and come back to share sometime. I think one of my obstacles is that I'm such a perfectionist and fiddler and sensitive sally that it actually hinders my creativity sometimes, so I need to transform my thinking a little and participate in something like this.

Oooo, I do like the warmer tone on the photo. Good call! It's such a subtle change, but it really does make it blend better.
