Laura's post about going on vacation to Paris and unplugging made me wonder.
Have you ever unplugged on vacation? Or do you search for vacations with the intent of staying plugged in?
When we went cruising to Alaska, my intent was to mostly unplug. I had just started school, and knew I wouldn't be able to fully unplug, but I got everything done I could before I went. And then in Sitka we sat in front of the public library and used their wi-fi so I could finish! Prior to that, it's usually when we head to Canada and tell people we will be "out of the country".
Usually, I have access to the internet through my cousins, and Tim Horton's. But I like to act like I'm unavailable!
So, how about you? Have you taken a fully unplugged vacation? Or do you prefer to stay plugged in?

) I will mostly read my current book, or work on a knit project, or to start a layout or two during our downtime. I don't connect to wi-fi for most of that -- only to check the internet to confirm something I'm putting on a layout, such as the name and spelling of a place -- so maybe I'm naturally more unplugged than plugged. LOL
