it seems like most of us are on the nude/black or white thing!!!!!!!
Have any of you actually READ that article? is not too long, but they are saying because of the chacras and energy spots the color can be influential.... I didn't much believe in the Chinese medicine stuff or Bach Flower Remedies and color therapy....until I had a go at Shiatsu and went for a DO IN course, which follows the channels of Chinese medicine to put pressure in points and heal some stuff...the massage is about the only thing that is effective completely for me as pain therapy, not only for my hips condition but I have gotten places with minor pains, like headaches or those days of the month (when I had them) then one of Sarita's teacher assistants when she was in primary introduced me to Bach Flowers Remedies, the rescue one...and, believe it or not....it worked.
Is exactly that: rescue...when I'm really really unwell, it works until I can get something stringer or get to the A&E /ER.... so I may try using colors see if it gives me some boost of energy... if it works, wearing purple may be able to help me sleep? I don't think I will loose anything as I buy my knickers at the Primark where you can buy 6 for £2!!!
Hmm. I tend to wear light tan undies so they blend with my skin color in case my clothes are a bit see-through (but I wear jeans and sweats so IDK why I care so much rotfl). I don't care about the color of my undies nearly as much as I care about their coverage. NO ONE needs to see what's "under" my underwear. Being tall, it's tough to find undies that cover my bum, so when I bend over...
I can avoid that. Actually, now that I'm a mom, I want to avoid showing off my bum to my kids' friends and their parents. Eek. No one needs to see that at preschool drop off.

Sarita has your same problem!!!!!! she doesn't like dressing up too showy, since she was 2 , people would say she was the UK'as Jennifer Lopez...as you could tell she will be big in that department

we buy the seamless briefs in this store called Primark that has really cheap stuff... and her bras she likes colors and stuff but she always complains because she hasn't got much...
No... I go for comfort these days. I laugh at all the older ones in my drawer still from my early twenties, and before kids... how did I ever find those to be comfortable?! Lol
My bra's these days are either black, nude, or a sports bra... I have one bright pink one that doesn't fit the same, but I don't get rid of it because it's pink...
Haha
I swear I have a pink bra I LOVE, almost never use but I treasure and don;t want to get rid of it!!!!!!!!!
I also go for neutrals, I used to be a LOT more daring until my late 30s.....
I'm all for comfort and tend to buy the flesh-colored (like
@Tree City) ones to go under light colored slacks but otherwise I have a rainbow of colors. In January I started going to a fitness center 5 times a week and bought some sports bras which I often wear on non-gym days too. Do your boobs hang low? Do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie em in.....

mine don't quiet fall, but I used to be able to wear no bra...not now!!!!!!!!
I DID!!!!!!!

I have no idea of how a bra needs to be to fit, Sarita is the one who tells me
, mine I was buying under wired but now I am in so much pain I'm trying to buy sports ones, I like the padded ones but those generally comes with wire...
Oh I go just WILD!!! bwahahaha

Nude, white and black. I do have one red bra that I got for a sweater that was a bit open weave but mostly I just wore nude under that.I don't even have the sweater any more but who wants to go look for another bra that fits!
And as for undies...i have almost all the totally seamless ones from Costco...granny pants but then I am a grandmother so who cares? I do have some pure cotton ones - white or whatever the blah pattern in the 3 pack from Target. I do wear them on really hot and humid days with really loose lineny drawstring pants. Thank god we haven't had any of those days this year -yet. It IS about comfort comfort comfort for me.
You know, all my life, I wore ...not quiet granny pants, but always bigger than other girls. I have lots of scars in my hiops and (not sure how to explain) the ones from my childhood made like a dent under my femur head, so I usually wanted to cover the dent, not the scars, I never really cared about those, but the shape...then when Sarita was born, I wore big BIG ones until C section healed...and I was more comfy after with medium sizes ones..... and yes, COMFORT is number one for me.... but still, I dont feel quiet right (not even to go to buy bread LOL) if the underwear isn;t in sync with what I m wearing color wise LOL
I'm the opposite of you guys. My underwear is usually bright colors, polka dots...fun stuff. I usually wear black pants or jeans, so nothing shows through. My bras are a mishmash because I'm picky about the kind (I get t-shirt material) so I have a lot that are just black, but some are polka dot and some are striped. I have a neon orange one and some pink. I have some lacy racy fancy ones in a drawer, but those don't really come out. LOL. I don't know why I just don't get rid of them.
oh I love you!!!!!! I would have never pegged you for very orange or neon stuff but LOVE to hear you are!!!!!!! we are lucky that our cheap store does cotton , seamless very cheap ones....but yes, comfort, material has to be comfy for me!
I just made a comment about this yesterday to
@Lena Gardner of Bella Gypsy! My undies are almost all cartoon or superhero. Yes, I'm 50. I have Cookie Monster, Bat Man, Minions, several Star Wars, all of the different Avengers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mario & Luigi, and more. I love Target's undie collections! I don't wear any Disney, though. As much as I love Disney characters I don't want them on my undies. I don't know why, I'm just weird. (I do wear Disney Jamberries on my fingernails.) Every SuperTarget grocery run has a quick detour to the undies section to see if there is anything new and fun. I spent my 30s and 40s in cotton granny panties so last year I decided to make a change. I still have a few of the comfy granny panties for backup but I love my fun undies. Silky, lacey, other ones only get worn for special occasions, lol.
Bras are totally plain. I joke that I have no boobs, it is all armpit fat that I pull forward, so I wear the Bali stretchy comfy bras in beige, white, black, gray, and pink. All of the pretty and lacey and push ups and other bras never get worn. I'm all about comfy when I wear them. At home I almost never wear them and they come off right after my shoes when I walk in the door. For military balls when I want to look like I have boobs I wear the stick-on rubber backless fake-booby bras with everything pushed up and out. It is the one and only time I ever wear anything low cut that would show cleavage so I enhance as much as I can.
I have always wanted to be a matching beautiful bra and panty wearer but it only worked out that way for me in my 20s. Somewhere along the line I chose comfort over anything else.
OMG...the more I know of you, the more I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny thing? I took a photo of Sarita TODAY before she left for work, well, before she went to get dressed, because she was wearing Hogwarts ones, Harry Potter!!!!!!!! I used to have some briefs that were like a cartoon magazine, not sure where they are now ... LOVE love LOVE YOU Mary!!!!!!!!
Why does that not surprise me about you, Kimberlee!!!
see? you obviously know her better because I was!!! (suprised!!)
Oh Mary, that is just awesome!
isn't it just???!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE this girl!!!!!
Well the bra I'm wearing right now is gray with black vines on it (literally just checked while reading everyone's responses after mine lol)... it's one of my faves and I just noticed the stitching around the cup is loose.

I also hate bra shopping cuz (this is a theme, y'all) I can't find bras that fit AND that also have straps long enough for my long self. If I find one that fits, then I buy every color they have. But usually that's tan and, if I'm lucky, gray or black because apparently tall, busty women don't like colors or patterns.

So I guess I will be hitting the stores soon. Ugh.
what a shame that the people I love the most live so far...we could have such a blast going shopping together!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cynthia, what a fun post! Who'd think we'd even care about what kind of underwear other women are sporting, but this has to be one of the most interesting random threads I've seen! Some of these are such a hoot!
As for me, I am just a boring beige, black and white gal. Yes, I am also a rule follower! Mine are also chosen strictly for comfort. I can't imagine what I'd do if I were ever to date again. I think the best policy would be not too, lol!
Thanks Nancy!!!!! I tell you... I thought about posting this all day yesterday... I'm always thinking of you all here, because with everything I read around or things that happen to me, I think: what would the girls think? most of the time I end up not posting because I forget, or, more often, because I start writing the post and I see is a kilometric text that I think none will have the patience to read!!!!

I don;t think you are boring, as I was saying, I think most of us go for neutrals because is what doesn't show through... or we just lost the energy to be creative with undies in our case for our age

I also go for comfort, I haven't bought anything that has stitches for at least 8 years....
Now...date? dating? what is that???????

My underwear are white.
But my bras are fun. Today's is black and pink with lace. My favorite sports bra is neon orange. And I have one of those incredibly annoying to put on one's that has 5 or 6 strappy bits to hold it up. If I ever have to ride in an ambulance, or be rescued by a cute fireman, I want a cute bra.
ohhhh I had never though about this ... not sure about fire men, but the ambulance comes to get me often...maybe I get one of those cute ones?
