1. Monday's Blow 2. Will this Venti Cold Brew get me thru the day? 3. Why don't I go to bed at a decent hour?
Did you figure this out? I always use 300 dpi for printing. Because that's what papers and elements are made in. LOL. Did you? Yes. 100% this! Did you volunteer out of the kindness of your heart? Or were you voluntold - which my dad does to me all.the.time. Hmmm.... Weird! Where is it hosted? Never heard of this show. How was the concert?
I don't know. But if you figure it out, will you let me know too? Because I keep using the computer to avoid housework too! Oh no! I hope your parents have power back today! [Q UOTE="gonewiththewind, post: 1039872, member: 1595"]3. School starts on Monday and I'm happy and sad at the same time. The weekend seems to be going by so fast![/QUOTE] Yeah, what happened to the summer? It flew by! Me too! I hope they stay gone for you! I hope they do! Have you heard yet?
Wahoo! Where you headed? (Sorry if I've missed that info!) Always. Because sisters should always accept PJ's as appropriate wear. Mine is in great use: Currently holding down papers so the fan doesn't blow them away! Yeah for camping!!! Sorry about the fires. Wahoo! Girls Day rules! I swear the whole world needs rain or is flooding. Sigh. There are some websites that do this, sorta. They are school supply boxes. You just have to get your teacher to sign up. My friend got on Amazon and ordered all hers so she had a box of supplies show up.... Woot woot!!! I'm jealous. I hope you have a great time! Just so awesome! You go soccer mom! Um, yes. I need to figure this out too!
Fabulous! I loved my comfy seat on the lawn, even though the people on the stage appeared tiny. If anyone wants to see my videos and pictures I posted them on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/michele.kendzie
@bestcee My parents got their power back after a couple hours. Some of the electronics (modem, brand new stove and some smaller items) don't work now. Dad figured it was time for a new modem anyways and they're working with warranty on the stove. Mom can't wait to cook again!
Oh! Outdoor concert? I missed that part! How lovely. Aw, man! Is it on the list for this week? Or put aside for now? That is always my after a power outage feeling!
@bestcee hair coloring is on my list for tomorrow. I did get a mani/pedi though. That was a good trade-off. LOL
Jiffy Lube Live is a partially covered venue. There are 15,000 seats and a pit covered by a roof (but no walls) and, behind that, a lawn that accommodates 25,000. Lawn tickets were only $25 so it balanced out my daughter's pit ticket (around $75)! And I'm happier being further back. I was front and center on the lawn, the sound was fantastic, and I had a great view of Pentatonix, even if they looked only a half in tall. There were two big screens showing close ups too.
(01) I have to sing a song parody (that I wrote) along with the rest of the staff at the ministry celebration Saturday night, and I'm already getting anxious about it. Public speaking (singing) is my worst nightmare. (02) I don't remember what I bought to make for dinner tonight. I hope I remember soon. (03) I might get my nose pierced soon. Like real soon. When one of my coworkers (unprompted!) looked at my face the other day and said, 'You have such a cute nose. It would look so great with a nose piercing!' I was finally convinced.
THIS on a daily basis.... 1. Is it too late for coffee? 2. Is it too early for wine, or a cocktail?? 3. I should go workout... (and then it normally takes me about 2 more hours, but I eventually go workout. Lol.)
Turns out my cousin forgot to message me that her son would help me today. My neighbor was scheduled to help today and it turns out that was the best day for Charles as well. They got all the big and heavy stuff out of the basement and into the dumpster in a little over an hour. I directed the operation and helped with lightweight stuff. Charles also changed some high up light bulbs for me in the garage as well then hung around for over 3 hours just talking. He is such a well-mannered and smart 19 year old! And, not your typical millennial! He gave me his phone number and said if I ever needed help with something to just give him a call. I really appreciated that because there are just some things this old body can no longer do! I paid him for his time as well I still have a list of stuff I need to make a decision about since I know how much room is left. I have the dumpster until Monday so I will work on that the next few days. It is all smaller stuff so I can handle it. My neighbor didn't want payment... instead he had some things to put in the dumpster. It isn't full so I said go ahead! I have also let this neighbor use my driveway for years when they have had family parties so this is one way he can repay me for that. I'm exhausted, sore and stiff. All those trips up and down the basement stairs were hard on this old body.
This is awesome! My brothers do that for my mother in law. It's worked out well for her, because as one gets busy/married/goes to school....there's another waiting in the wings! (I'm the oldest and married her youngest boy). I always love to hear when younger kids help out!
1. How am I going to organize Gabe's book for graduation? 2. I wish I wasn't at work... 3. What should we have for supper tonight?
1. How to convince my DH to stick with his job longer when it's constant crappy days? 2. Why do I always feel so insignificant when no other source is doing it to me besides me? 3. Can you scrap too much? HA! Definitely not!
