Tax Time Refund List??

refund - if its anything more than the $16 that I had last year it will be a miracle - I'll probably spend it on some sb supplies, reducing debt, paying off my laptop to my friend
 
i dont really understand how this works,as we dont do it here in the uk,i just get my wages and they take out the tax before i get it
 
Some of it will be set aside in savings, some will go towards a bit of debt, and some will be spent on items we want/need. Those would be; a double jogging stroller, a plane ticket for me to fly north for a weekend for a wedding this summer, a water cooler and new running shoes for both myself and DH.

We already filed and should be getting our refund this week. Yay!
 
No refund here. DH is still paying off debt from his first marriage that his ex got 'innocent spouse' relief for. *eyeroll*

Even when that gets paid off, we won't have much of a refund year-to-year as DH is getting his M.S.A. and is one of those 'I'm not going to loan the government my money all year long' guys. :)
 
No refund here! :( Now that all the kids are grown and on their own....the tax man is definitely making us pay now!
 
No refund for us this year either. Our first time with no refund in about 6 years. I really wanted one too as a DSLR was on my list of things to buy with it. Instead, we owe money! UGH!
 
Yeah... mine's going to buying a new backdoor ((the one the came in our house is like the wrong size so we get a killer draft)) the rest is going to paying student loans.
 
We used to receive a refund every year... and we'd use it to pay the kids school for the next year.
Now with me self-employed, its basically gone away. It's the pits.
 
My husband always get's a decent return. Me on the other hand I'm self employed and I owe every year, so at least half of his return pays mine *grumble*
 
My tax return will be used for 2 vacations, one in March and the other in Aug/Sept. The rest will be put in savings to pay off some credit cards and saving for college expenses.
