After a wonderful MOC8, let's continue with today's Speed Scrap!

Thank you to all who come to the chat and to everyone who participates in the speed scrap!! You will have until 4PM today to complete your page. Everyone who completes their page according to the instructions will receive a coupon. I will try to get them out to you as soon as possible after 4PM EST Today.

Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery under Speed Scraps and link here in this thread so I make sure to give you credit.

GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

Let's begin!!!

Here are the instructions:
-1 photo (stroke framed, framed or no frame)
-2 JC's (Option: can substitute 1 additional photo for 1 JC)
-3 bits of paper (paper pieces - like elements)
-At least 2 background papers (I used 3 - 2 are blended together)
-paint
-stitching
-At least 6 (additional) elements of your choice (in addition to paint, stitching and/or frame already noted that are musts)
-Title, Date and at least 2 lines of journaling

Thanks so much for hosting this Speed Scrap, Christa. All the talk about our beloved Dawn, moved me to use the Heartsong Collab in memory of her. :(

 
Thanks for the chat and scrap. I also miss Dawn.

Bucky was one of your favorite toys as a child. You even hid my car keys in Bucky’s tummy along with a spilled glass of orange juice. That led to a not so merry hunt. Bucky has been sitting in the attic for 30 years until today. I brought him down and spent an hour cleaning him so we can bring him down for sweet Gabrielle. Totally shocked when I opened his tummy and found a pair of your baby sandals. I do hope your little one enjoys him as much as you, our little one.

My 6 (+) additional elements are: small cluster (lower right of photo), staple (top left of photo), pink string/bow, leaves, pink bird, and white flower added to the cluster, pink butterfly, WA strips to left of the photo.
Most of this is from the Heartsongs Collab. Dawn was a very special designer - gone way too soon!

journaling: While waiting for the school bus at 8.15 a.m., I play with my phone's camera, the sunlight, & a spider web, with poor results...
 

I'll need to tweak this, but I wanted to make the deadline! I think I have everything needed on there. Literally the fastest page I've ever done (20 min) and I don't hate it. lol
