Hi Everyone! Welcome to today's Speed Scrap!

Since this is a Speed Scrap you will have 1 hour from the end of the chat to complete your page. Please post your completed layout by 4PM Today 12/11

GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

(Please post your layout in the Speed Scraps Lilypad Gallery and link it here to this thread so we make sure we see all the completed pages. Everyone who finishes their pages and posts by 4PM EDT on 12/11 will recieve a participation coupon which I will send via PM.)

Instructions:

1. Light background paper - can be solid or patterned
2. 1 photo - framed or no frame your choice
3. 2 papers under photo.. (one of the papers can be a Journal Card but at least 1 pattern paper)
4. Add a bow, and something shiny and any additional elements of your choosing.
5. Add a title
6. Add a date and at least 3 lines of journaling
7.Add a scatter and/or paint and shadowing to complete your page!

I really wanted to play along but we just got back from lunch and I'm too slow to scrap a page in less than an hour so I'll just admire everyone else's work here. :)

journaling reads:
My friend Li Li Wee is an amazing artist. She lives in the other side of the globe and I will probably never meet her, but that's what Facebook is for! The other day she sent me a digital print with one of her portraits. I had it printed at a local store. The quality isn't the best, and my photography skills are non existent, but you get the picture! I printed two version: the quote is something I read and it felt like it slapped me in the face. Now I need to frame it and find where to hang it...

Hi Christa,

I am SO SORRY I couldn't attend. I was all set to, and then DH announced that he wanted to run some errands & he wanted me along. We got back home at 2 p.m. central time, so at least I was able to complete a layout.
