So many emotions

So now you can change that commute time to scrap time right?

It is scary moving out, but think of the bright side, your family is only 2 hours away or so right? I'm excited at how easy it came together for you!

Congratulations!

Way to go, Jennifer!! This is exciting! I'm really happy for you. You are now on a great adventure and starting a new page in your life. I'm thinking you will probably ask yourself why you didn't do it sooner! You won't know what to do with yourself having so many free hours in your day. I'm so happy for you!! :)

Wow, I'm glad you are getting rid of that crazy commute! Be safe and good luck with the move.

Congrats on making this decision, and good luck with your move!

This is a big step, but you can totally do it! It'll be so nice for you to have WAY less traveling and more time for both school and some actual free time too! I hope you love it as much as I think you will. :)

Such exciting news! Hope the packing and cleaning go well - i always hate that most about moving! Are you moving further south or north?

Change is always a bit scary, we do get nervous but I think you should concentrate in all the achievements you have had till now, and how amazing the road will be in the future...you got this. You have arrived to this point on your own mert and I am SURE you will shine and also have a great time!!!!!!
You know we are here, all of us, praying and cheering for you.... Can't wait to see you getting settled and hear all about the new journey!!!!!!

Thanks girls. I got a bit of bad news yesterday - looks like I'm going to have to get some sort of part time job once I get there as none of my govt support (extra $160 a month) that I applied for has been granted and I have cut down my costs to the bare minimum already.

:( so sorry to hear..... you will get there though.Have you guys not have an appeal system? maybe you can get it motion and see what happens?
otherwise, just keep positive, you will have half a road conquered... I wish we could do more than just talk..

It's a super complex process cause I need Drs willing to listen to my pleas that I think have gastro issues from a surgery many years ago that require me to have special food (gluten and lactose free - am already somewhat lactose free with great results). None of my Drs were willing to listen so when it came time to update and add special foods onto my disability allowance all she did was put down special foods without any letter to support why I needed it or what I need food wise so it was rejected. My current dr is booked a week in advance and she is part time so I have to wait to deal with this with a new dr which will take time cause I want to find one that will support my gastro intolerance issues as well as my women's issues. Even if I resubmit the application there still aren't any guarantees that it will be approved.

I know the feeling :( I am actually right now going through an appeal process for my care package, even though it was me who stopped the package last year, in order to make Sarita learn to earn her money (she took a gap year until she decided if she wanted to go to Uni) as I said, wish could do more than just talk :(

Good for you. It's a huge and scary step for sure, but it's also a step into a wonderful new adventure of independence and exciting challenges. Breath deep and move forward. Excellent and congratulations.

Oh, big days ahead for you, I'm sure you'll handle them well and you will find your balance.. :heartlub

Good for you on the move! Courage dear heart! Thinks always work out in the end and if they haven't worked out yet, it's not the end! A bit of advice that always makes me smile knowing I don't know the future so there's no sense in 'awfulizing' it as a friend says. You have us rooting for you!

Thanks Maureen, I'm awful at analysing and in most cases overanalysing a situation and I know it. Trying to just stay calm with everything that needs to be done this week. Lots and lots of lists on my phone keeping me organised right now.

Hooray now comes the fun og settling in like you want. Glad to hear you sre set of able to get set up enough fot the night.
