We are just starting a Slow Scrap in the chat room. If you play along these layouts will also meet the requirements for today's MOC challenge as long as you don't add a photo:

Here are the steps:

ONE – Start with one background paper. Then I want you to add at least two additional pieces of paper that overlap each other. The size doesn’t matter and it doesn’t matter how much they overlap.

TWO – Add at least one bit of paint (splatter, smear, gesso, etc), one scribble (doodle) and one scatter (beads, sequins, confetti, etc.)

THREE – Add a title. You may use a font or an alpha. Since we will not be adding any photos, make the title nice and visible. No tiny titles.

FOUR – Add some journaling. If you don’t have a story to tell you may add one word art in place of journaling.

FIVE – Add one string and attach the string to your page with at least one staple or similar attachment type element. (staple, stitching, clip, etc.)

SIX – Add another small piece of paper or a tag and add a date on top.

SEVEN – Complete your layout by adding at least 5 more elements.

You will have until tomorrow at 10:00 pm ET to complete your layout for this slow scrap. Please upload your pages to the Speed Scraps Gallery AND post it here so I can be sure to leave you some love! :agree

The rules:
-----------
Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed. **For those participating in MOC: Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). If you use product from other stores, your pages must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).
----------

ETA: Here's my layout:

The scribble is part of one of the paints (look on the pink and yellow), but I added two more paints. My title is "Write." I added the hashtag wonderful word strip instead of journaling. The only stringlike thing in this kit is this thread; I hope that's ok. I attached it with a metal brad in the hole of the tag the string is tied to. For the small piece of paper with the date, I used the cloud-shaped element.

My "at least 5 more elements" include (but may not be limited to, because I lost track as I was adding things :lol2
1. confetti
2. Hi! dot
3. flower
4. paper strip with holes
5. doily
6. fabric

Thank you Karen - a second page for MOC day 25

my 5 more elements
an overlay
circle stitch
eucalyptus leaves
flower
texture overlay
all from the eucalyptus bundle

I love the instructions - it sparked some ideas to get me scrapping for this MOC challenge. Thank you!

Wonderful challenge, sorry I missed the chat, I didn't watch the calendar and I thought the chat would be today, better that I don't trust my memory again, anyway, here's my take, I used smear, doodle, confetti, alpha title work, word art as journaling, tag with this month date due is pictureless. Once again thank YOU so much! Wishing you a wonderful day my dear

This was perfectly timed for my son's flight today... he didn't get any photos so whilst it was still fresh in my head I made my layout

Extra items: plane, map, hexagon stamp, compass stamp word tag x2

Thanks for the fun chat. I always enjoy them. Since I already completed the MOC for January 26 with a different layout, this is only for the slow scrap. I ended up trashing my original layout and started fresh this a.m.

P.S. It was minus 16 degrees (F) out there today. Yikes!

Thanks Karen! Finally got mine done:
ONE – Start with one background paper. Then I want you to add at least two additional pieces of paper that overlap each other. The size doesn’t matter and it doesn’t matter how much they overlap. (two additional papers: journal strips & telescope tag)
