Journaling reads:
Aaron did his first navigation flight today. He and Moagi took off from Lanseria around 11:30am. They flew to Brits (touch-and-go) then on to Pilansberg (another touch-and-go). It was then on to a little unmanned aerodrome called Morningside (near Magliesberg) before heading east towards Hartbeespoort and back to Lanseria by 2pm. Aaron said there was lots to do with radio work, plotting wind and estimate arrival times and then actual arrival times. He never got to take any photos though. The flight was good lesson with lots of new things introduced. He did enjoyit but found it very tiring.
You're right! This was perfect for this subject since he couldn't get pictures. I'm so impressed reading about all the landings and take offs! I guess that the best way to learn, huh? How cool that he's a pilot too! Great page to capture it!
