3. Do you sleep on your back, side, stomach? Mostly back, a little on my side.
4. What time do you go to bed? Ideal would be 9:30 because I get up at 5:30 these days to fit the gym in before going to work, but that only started a couple of weeks ago and I'm still adjusting.

5. Do you sleep soundly? Mmmm. Usually. Usually once my head hits the pillow I'm out but over the last year or so I tend to wake up to have to go to the bathroom around 2 and then it takes me a bit to get back to bed.

You all are night owls! I tend to be in bed at 9pm. During the winter, with the sun going down so soon, I have a hard time staying awake past 8pm. Sun goes down, my brain goes down. Sun comes up, so does my brain. But in my defense, for many, many years I had to be an early riser...like 4:30 am early riser...and a good day was 6am. These days, my hubs still has to get up at 4...but I typically wake up, often without an alarm by 5:45am. I do not fall asleep right away...going to bed at 9 means I'm asleep at 10. So, I get ~ 7.5 to 8hrs of sleep.

If it is dark, not too hot, and there is no noise (or only white noise) I can be a good sleeper. Having back issues with sciatica has made the past 10 years more difficult to sleep. Something about laying down flat hits the nerve and causes more pain. I rarely sleep on my stomach...side with a body pillow for support is best. I am over sensitive to noises too...the slightest thing has the potential for keeping me up.

You all are night owls!

Funny story about me. Even as a baby I would not go to sleep early. Mom documented it in my baby book that I would be wide awake at 11:30 at night.

So yeah, I've always been a night owl. I thrived when I worked 2nd shift (also saved a lot of money since I wasn't out running around every night).

I'm a night owl too, always have been.

1. How much sleep do you get a night? 6-7 hours M-F, more on the weekends b/c I can sleep in
2. Do you remember your dreams? Nope
3. Do you sleep on your back, side, stomach? Top half on my side, then I twist at the waist so my hips are belly down
4. What time do you go to bed? Never before midnight, and then I read in bed for a bit
5. Do you sleep soundly? Once I'm asleep yes, but I often have trouble falling asleep, and then I'm up 1-3 times a night to hit the bathroom so I don't always fall right back asleep.
