October Challenge

Each month I'll host a different Mixed Media Challenge, for October we're going to be creating a mixed media white space/minimalist page that follows a recipe. Sound confusing and/or difficult? Not at all, trust me!

In page layout, illustration and sculpture, white space is often referred to as negative space. It is the portion of a page left unmarked: margins, gutters, and space between columns, lines of type, graphics, figures, or objects drawn or depicted.

I have some fabulous pages created by the Captivating Sista's (My Creative Team) and Polly's to help give you a visual;







Your Challenge Recipe:

A solid background
1 photo
At least one piece of paint and/or splatter
3 elements
At least 2 paper pieces

Challenge Requirements:

• Challenge layouts must use 100% of Rachel Jefferies Designs currently available at my TLP store.
• Upload your layout to the Rachel Jefferies Designs Gallery at TLP
• Please also reply to this thread for your challenge entry to be counted, with the image of your finished layout linked to the gallery.
• No double dipping for other challenges, I'd like to see brand new pages

The challenge will be open throughout the rest of October and I'll pick a random participant to win a $10 coupon to my shop who will be announced with the November Challenge.
