Bit of a weird request and I'm not really sure what direction I am going to go for it yet so I'm open to suggestions. A friend and I were at a fundraising quiz night and our team was so useless we came dead last so our prize was......a red and yellow rubber chicken! Most of the team left before the last round as we were losing by heaps so my friend and I ended up with this silly chicken....I got the photo, she got the chicken. I'm thinking of something humorous rather than focussed on the quiz cause this is the only photo I have
I am thinking maybe Game night by Kristin Aagard and then tell the story of you getting the rubber chicken as a prize... When I saw your rubber chicken it reminded me of Kate Hadfield's Prankster Doodle pack she had. If only she still sold here at the pad
@cfile, that could work but I'd rather find something I'd get more use out of if that makes sense so it may be a small element pack or word art pack to go with a storyteller from Jaimee maybe or I don't know
That could work @cinderella....I actually don't do very many funny or humorous layouts so this is tougher than I thought
maybe search your stash for "fun" and/or "laugh" and see what word art, word strips or flairs you come up with, then use whichever storyteller kit grabs you and add a "this is the story . . ." lead-in to your journaling ?? Sounds like it is a good story to document. Or maybe it could be a "so, this happened" kind of story
OMG. I love that rubber chicken! I usually buy the worst BUNCO player of the night when we play! LOL!!!!!
@littlekiwi How about a kit with an oops and a LOL like @elseepe said. Or even some smileys! Let me look for some that you can just add to any page later.
@littlekiwi I posted these for Kari the other day, these might work, there are a ton of other smileys (search for smileys or smilies)
Thanks @cfile @cinderella @elseepe & @Dalis for your suggestions I think I am going to go with PRD's Laugh Out Loud elements & possibly papers as I already have the matching alpha. I think the elements are versatile enough I'd use them again and again. I'll keep looking in my stash too as something might still pop up that could work
@Dalis I'm looking for a paper that looks like hardwood flooring. I'm hoping you know of something in the shop. I tried searching for hardwood and flooring and got nowhere.
Dark or light wood? Did you search Allison's papers? I like a lot of her wood grains but I can't think of one in particular that's like a floor.
