In your house, that is! Where is your computer? Work (play) space? Do you have a desktop? Are you mobile with a laptop?

My iMac is in my kitchen and it is where I do 95% of my computer stuff/scrapping. It's central and allows me to keep up with everyone around me while I'm online. I also have a Macbook but honestly, the kids use it primarily and I'm spoiled by the big screen anyway.

So, are you in a kitchen nook? Bedroom? Den?
Do you have your own craft room/office? (I'm trying not to hate you right now... [:] ) Kidding, of course, I'm totally happy for you... :whistle

Anyway... where are you? (Bonus points for photos, as always!)

I scrap on my laptop. I move it around my house. Office/craft room or kitchen table most often, though I was on the couch last night. :)

We have an "office" where my desktop and dual monitors is. But the computer isn't really working at the moment, so I've been relegated to the dining room table with the laptop.

I do have a craft room. It is out at the back of the yard (an old chicken shed that my DH converted for me). But it is too crowded to really do anything in at the moment. Ugh. I need to purge/re-organize.

Right now, I'm sitting at a built in desk off the kitchen. It's within ear distance of the family room (which is around the corner off the kitchen on the other side.) I have an iMac and I really like the big screen.

I usually have company when I scrap:

That's Keysha under my chair and Gannon off to the side probably getting ready to bark at Keysha to tell her she needs to go lay on her bed.

I have a MacBook too. It usually lives on the couch. You can see it on the left end of the couch (or under the couch when it's not in use so the dogs don't step on it.)

On the rare occasion that I am sitting on the couch with the computer, it's hard to be productive when I have this next to me:

Honestly, though. I don't think that it's me that he wants ...

If I do go to a crop, I take the laptop:

I do have space upstairs that could be a craft room, but it's a dumping ground right now. If I do anything crafty, I like to be in the kitchen though ...

In the wee hours of the morning I check emails etc upstairs in the office.. the rest of the day I am on my laptop in the kitchen where I am close to the coffee pot and have access to the small TV and windows to overlook the backyard. I do all my scrapping there :) Love it.

It's a one-bedroom flat and the kids have the bedroom, so the "living room" is really the room where pretty much everything happens. I have a laptop but I hesitate saying I'm mobile as there isn't really very far I could go. It sits on a small table that is next to the couch/bed.

As empty nesters with a pretty big house, my husband and I have our own offices in left over bedrooms. I also often work form home for my job so it comes in handy for more than scrapping. I have a laptop and an extra screen , but i generally tend to use it like a desktop because even though we have wifi, i rarely work in any other room on the computer. My ideal would be a desk in the kitchen but we don't have that large a kitchen.....

I do visit the forum from my pad in the family room a lot though...

I have a desk in my bedroom which I should use but as its just my mum and i, I'm using the dining room table

I've got a laptop that is homed in my bedroom, but I use it mostly from our couch.... DH watches TV... and I'll scrap sitting next to him on the other couch. Sometimes, during the school year when the boys are doing homework (I'm better off sitting with them for help and motivation to keep focus), we will all sit at the dining room table and I'll scrap there.

I do have a giant craft room... but if it makes you feel better, I don't use it very much. It's more like a storage room for all my stuff. I don't like being in the basement away from everyone and all the things going on with my family.

So, I actually have my desk in the dining room. We use our dining room table about twice a year and that room has great windows and hard wood floors, so I took all the leaves out of the table and scooched the table to one side and moved my desk in there. I LOVE it there. I mounted both my monitors to the wall so I have lots of desktop space and I do all my crafting (while watching Netflix) and scrapping there.

Jen, you and I are on the same page! iMac in the kitchen, where I'm in the hub of it all and my Macbook for browsing with my feet up in front of the tv. I am another who is spoiled by the big screen!

I am in a corner of the office, the rest of the office is taken by Bianca's toys, game boards and books.

Laptop in the living room. I do have an office, but I use that for the days I work from home. All my personal computer time happens in the living room.

This looks similar to my space... I need to take a picture RIGHT NOW (just had our internet rewired so I HAD to clean off the desk, LOL).

I LOVE seeing these photos... makes me feel like I can "know" you all better!

We have this weird room sort of in the middle of the house that connects to the kitchen and has two other doorways that open to the hallway that wraps around two sides of the room. This has become the office area where my laptop usually stays and I can keep an eye on what's going on around the house while I'm at the computer.

I'm at my desk in our family room, desktop with dual monitors. Laptops and I don't get along very well. ;) I wish I had a craft room, but we don't have space, so I make do with my desk, and anything bigger/messier gets done at the kitchen table.

Here's an old picture of my setup, clean because I had just gotten a new bigger monitor and I had to rearrange everything to make it fit. Not a lot has changed. The desk is way messier. I have a slightly bigger tablet now. The printer stand has been moved to the other side next to the shelves. And I've worn a giant hole in the upholstery of my chair where I cross my ankle under my leg. :giggle

Sigh. Two monitors. Love. And I like all of the sunlight coming in.

My partner and I have desks backed to each other in a small dark study. We have desktops and gadgets on desks so think messy :-( This is the only thing I am not so thrilled about in our new house as my previous study was large and light...

Mine is on the living room and it's a desktop. I have it on an end table and that works for me. I can easily keep an eye on the kids and stuff!

I have a great office/studio with full daylight windows in the basement. I love it. But I am away from home right now, so I can't take a pic to share.

Kimberly, I adore your pics! I have a German Shepherd too and she's a frequent "helper" in my office. :)
