Pad Patter 7.12.15: Where Are You?

This is a great post for me right now, lol! I have a Macbook and love being mobile, but DH and I were just talking about getting an iMac since we now have kids in school and I'm not great at sharing . Anyhow... he wants to put it on the kitchen desk and I thought that would be weird- but after reading your posts I think it'll be perfect!

not home right now either, so no pics to share ... but i have an big iMac in my office/studio ... it is really sup'd to be a formal living room, but who needs one of those? it's open so i can hear everything, but its around the corner so i get a little peace and privacy in there. i also have my laptop that i can use wherever. like now ... visiting my family in NJ.

Kimberly, I adore your pics! I have a German Shepherd too and she's a frequent "helper" in my office.

My laptop is on a small computer table (the kind that snuggle up to a chair/couch) in the family room. I sit at the end of the couch which is next to my fireplace. On the raised hearth is my color printer, EHD and my pens/etc. I pull the computer table/laptop up to the couch and work from there. In front of me on the wall is our large TV and it is always on. I half watch TV whenever I scrap. Since the family room is open to the kitchen, I pretty much keep and eye on the dog and the hubs. I have a craft room upstairs with an extra monitor but I never use it.

My laptop on the couch in the living room is where I do all my scrapping.

I have a spare bedroom that I used as an office when I had my desktop but once that died I never replaced it. Now it just has the futon, desk, file cabinet and printer in it. Desperately needs to be purged/organized, lol.
