Pad Patter 6/2/15 : What did you wanna be when YOU grew up?

I can't remember ever knowing. I had no calling to have a vocation. I'm 50 now and still waiting to find out!

I was so, so lucky.... I always wanted to be a performer, since I was 4 years old and my parents got me a guitar teacher (I didn't walk until age 5, my uncle gave me a guitar when I was going to be 4 I think- I didn't want it because I wanted a piano, so I didn't touch it for a few months, then my parents called the teacher!)
I did a LOT of other jobs in order to be able to keep performing, but luckily, I spent 30 years on stage, and for quiet a good part of them , I was paying the bills with that- :)
from all other jobs I studied/work in, there were some I loved, some I just couldn't stand so I left...but in general I have great memories of my time on stage-
Another thing I dreamed always was coming to Europe...obviously that is a reality....I never EVER thought I would live/settle in England though..... but here I am....25 years and counting!

Ah soo many...nurse, radiologist, travel agent and now I've ended up studying the field of disability studies
