How many people live in your house and how many computers? What are the computers mostly used for?

We have a family of four, and have four laptops. Mine is used for surfing the net, reading blogs and scrapping mostly; hubby's is a work computer and is used for work mostly and playing music and some games; my son (10) uses his for homework and playing games; and daughter (8) doesn't use hers at all now she has her ipod, but it was an old one from hubbys work and she just used it to play music and type (we didn't let her have internet connection). We also have an ipad (hubby's) and an iphone (mine). My son is most upset he is the only one in the family without an igadget.

We have a family of three. Hubby, my 6 yr old and me. I have a laptop that I use for internet, volunteer work and of course scrapping.

We have an old desktop that my son plays games on, but it's so slow that it's almost not worth it.

It's just me and my boyfriend . . . we have way too many electronics

2 mac desktops (one each - i use mine for photoshop work, surfing, etc. it's my main computer)
3 laptops (each a macbook, which we carry around to work, the couch, etc. plus he has a pc laptop he uses for homework)
1 iPad ... this is new, still figuring out what i like to use it for. so far been using it to play movies while i work on my desktop lol
2 iphones (one each) - my iphone is my life! phone, music, internet, notes, calendar, everything. i'd be lost without it

There are four of us in our house and I'm embarassed to even count how many we have in this house. I have one desktop that I do my main scrapbooking on in our family room. I have a laptop that I take when I scrap outside of the house and then I have another older desktop that is in the basement in my craft room. Then my Dad build two ancient computer fro each of my boys so they each have one to play games on! Isn't that pathetic! Plus we have probably two or three REALLY old computers that my hubby keeps around for spare parts because he's built both my desktops. :)

There are 4 of us. We have:
2 desktops (DH uses one for his photography, DD2 plays games on the other one, which is pretty old)
3 laptops (work for me, work for DH, school for DD1)
1 ipad (fun)

There are two of us here - me and mom. I have a laptop that I use for everything. She's got a computer upstairs. I also have two more computer that don't work and I am too lazy to get rid of!

We are a family of three with three desktops (all in a very small room with our homeschool stuff and a good chunk of our craft supplies-it's a tight fit).

I use mine for scrapbooking, browsing the interwebs, playing music, and the occasional game.
DD uses hers for schoolwork and playing webkinz (there are sometimes many days that go by without her even sitting down at her computer though). We've thrown around the idea of getting her a netbook since it would save space but she desperately wants to learn to digiscrap and I don't want to have to fight her for use of my computer..lol.
DH uses his mostly for gaming and browsing youtube.
We also all rely on our computers pretty heavily for research.

We are just a family of two.
One desk top mostly used for internet and scrapping
One iPhone which I had surgically attached to me
One android which is my hubby's

oh wow i think i need to catch up a bit! We are a family of 6 with only one old pc! It's so slow and crashes constantly and drives me nuts.
My step sister is going to build me a new one, but I haven't got around to organising it yet.

Then i have my iphone and DH has an android of some sort.
My girls have ipod shuffles for music.

We have 3 1/2 (SS is only with us 30% of the time) people living here and only one working computer. Sad face. I stink at sharing.

We are a family of 3 and we have 1 desktop (though it's practically a dinosaur these days) and 2 laptops (1 for me, 1 is DH's that he travels with). Mine are used mostly for all things scrappy and designy.

2 here - 1 laptop (mine), 1 pc

laptop - everything and anything to be honest, school work, internet browsing, digi scrapping, photo editing
pc - internet browsing, family history

I hate thinking about how materialistic we are. My computer was down for two days and I about went crazy.
Family of six. We own:
2 desk tops. Mine is for work, scrapping and no kids are allowed on it. And one for the kids. 2 laptops. One really old, hardly worth saying we even have it and the other my husband uses for work. We have 2 iPads. 2 older kids both have an iTouch. I have an iPhone and my husband has a droid, but is going to upgrade to an iPhone soon. LOL

There are 3 of us in our house and we have:

1) Desktop that I scrapbook on and surf around the world
2) Laptop for DS2
3) iPad that I use in the living room
4) iPhone
5) GoogleTV that we use for Netflix and because its on a 55" TV, everyone can view whatever is online.

I hate thinking about how materialistic we are. My computer was down for two days and I about went crazy.

My computer was having all sorts of problems last summer so we retired it (it was basically eating hard drives) and I had to share with DH and DD until January. It was pure torture. You would think the world was ending the way we fought over whose turn it was at the computers.

Four people, four computers.

I have a desktop with dual monitors (although one is an ancient CRT). I use it for everything from designing to surfing to doing bills. I will occasionally let one of the kids use it for homework if I don't have anything pressing I'm working on.

DH has a desktop that he uses for about 90% of what he does - surfing, magic business stuff, and job hunting.

The third desktop is ancient and hardly ever gets turned on, usually only if both kids need one for homework at the same time. And it takes so long to boot up, that usually one of them is done by then. :p

Our one laptop I only use for scanning, since our old scanner is incompatible with my computer. The kids use it for games and homework, and DH uses it when he needs a computer outside the house and occasionally here at home for surfing or other file stuff that his computer can't handle.

We do the hand-me-down chain. My computer is the most souped up and is always the newest. My current one is three years old. So sad that it feels "old" at three! :giggle

7 people.
3 computers. 2 of them are laptops. I am NOT counting iPhones, iPads, iPods.

The desktop is mine - I use it for everything.
One laptop was mine - is now my 16 year olds. He mostly uses for school work and facebook (and the games on facebook)
The other is a MacBook Pro - that's my husband's. He uses it for work.

Eventually we will be getting an iMac for me. Then the other four children will share this thing (with limited internet and major supervision) as they are all under the age of 10.

Three adults. Two desktops and a netbook we don't use. I think my DD will be taking that when she moves next week.

I have an iPad, but I don't count that. :p DD and I also have iPhones, but I actually just use it as a phone and a sometimes-camera, so I don't count that either. She uses hers constantly.

DH has a laptop he has to bring home from work every night, but it is just for work.

We have a family of 5 and we have 4 computers:
my iMac for work and scrappy stuff
kids iMac (formerlly my iMac, it's like 4ish years old) for all things kids
a lame PC laptop that is oldish that the hubby uses once in awhile (he prefers my iMac, which is great by me)
an older Mac Book laptop that is mostly only used when we travel - it's had a few near fatal issues and I'm just
glad it still works, lol!

The hubby has an ipad2, I hardly touch the thing, I have my iphone and my iMac, I don't need an ipad.
