Pad Patter: 4/5 - How many?

Just the kid and I here.. Kiddo has an old clunker desktop that he uses primarily for old nes games and occasionally school work, I have a desktop & lappy for work.. and the bf comes and goes with his own lappy :p .

We are a family of 7. I have my pc that I use for everything - work, scrapbooking, photography, internet. Then we have 3 other desktops, but right now only 1 of them is up and running. We just moved, so I haven't got everything set up. Eventually we'll have at least 2 desktops for the kids to do school work on and a laptop for "fun turns" (what my kids call it when they get a chance to go on the computer to play a game or something). I'm sure we'll have more when the kids are older, but right now my oldest is 10, so this works. plus, dh doesn't do much on the computer at all, and when he does, he uses mine.
 
Family of 4 and we have one desktop (mine), one laptop (shared), one laptop (hubby's work) and 1 iPad.
 
We are a family of 4. I've had a laptop for the last 5 years (my first one died last June) and we had a desktop until my hubby got a laptop through work. They made it mandatory for the techs to have them to run diagnostics on vehicles and they paid for most of it... my hubby only had to pay $400 for it and it's his to keep and has free service done to it if anything goes wrong.
 
3 of us here. We have a desktop that is my baby. I do pretty much everything on it. We have a laptop that we all kinda pass around and use, same with the iPad. DD gets most use out of that, I think. Plus Droids.

I was without ANYTHING for a whole week a few months ago. Talk about going crazy. Hoo-wee!
 
My family includes a daughter at college with her own laptop and iPad. Here at home, there is a laptop that I use for me (scrapping, photos, etc) and my iPad. My son has a desktop that he uses for school. I'm guessing he'll be getting a laptop from grandparents for graduation for college in the fall.

He is not allowed on my laptop. Too many viruses have happened on that desktop that I DON'T need on my scrappin' machine!

1 husband in Kuwait.
Husband took 1 Mac Book Pro (school online) 1 ipad, 1 iphone
We have here 1 Mac Book Pro (photography, scrapbooking, school) 1 iphone
Jaden (9) has an itouch.

My mac book pro isi CONSTANTLY being used and I think I will have to replace it next year (its about 4 years old) and I will save this one for the girls, as I am sure Jaden will need to use a computer more and more.
 
We are a family of 5 and we have 3 computers - 2 laptops and 1 desktop. Laptop Numero Uno is mine, nobody touches it, nobody looks at it or even asks to borrow it. It's an unwritten rule. lol The other laptop is for DH and the kids, they spend most of their time on this one. The desktop, we bought it for family use (the kids, etc.), but it has since then turned in to DH's business computer and no one other than him really uses it.

I want a Macbook. I'm dropping hints.

Oh and DH has an iPad that is used mainly for his business, I have my iPhone and the kids each have their own iPod.

I know we're probably in the minority here, but my kids don't have computers. They rarely get on my computer either unless they have homework they need to do on there or I'm feeling very generous. LOL

There are 6 of us here. I have my desktop, dh has about 37 other computers. HAHAHAHA. Seriously though, he owns his own computer consulting business, so we probably have 3 other older desktops and 3 older laptops (besides the one he uses for work).

So my computer is used for pretty much everything ... designing, scrapping, photography, bills, web design, homework, games, etc etc.
 
There are six of us here. We have one desktop used mainly by me for scrapping and blogging. My husband has a laptop and I have a laptop that I seldom use. I also have a netbook that I use for traveling.
 
Oh gosh... I'm not sure I should admit to this... LOL! We are a family of 3, me, dh and dd(teen) and let's just say we are geeked-out! :giggle The dh has a laptop and notebook, dd has a laptop & Kindle Fire, and me, I have desktop, laptop and Kindle Fire! I use my desktop for scrappin', by laptop for browsing and such while in front of the tv, and my Kindle Fire while on the go! We are way techy household! :-)
 
Oh, we finally got rid of 3 junked computers that were hanging out in the basement - ya for recycling drives!

Three of us...
2 desk stations - DH uses the one in the basement to "run" the house hold and to edit audio files for his Dad's radio show. I have a mac deskstation that just sits there and looks pretty... :(
2 laptops - One i do everything on... and a really old back up that DH is now using to building his on-line store
1 Netbook - DH uses when watching TV to surf the web.
1 smart phone - DH uses rest of the time to read emails and kiddo plays angry birds on...
1 Fire - DH uses to mostly play words with friends... once in a while I actually see him use it to read...
and now DH wants an iPad...

notice who is the computer geek in the house?? :D
 
We are a family of 7 (me, DH and 5 kiddos ranging from 14 to 2) and we 5 laptops. But Like Karah none of them are the kids and the kids rarely get on the computers!! :lol

DH has a primary laptop that travels with him and 2 laptops that sit in the office *IF* the children ever need it just for school work.

I have a primary laptop for my everyday stuff and I have a spare laptop that sits in the office that I just use now for backup!!! :giggle
