I love flying. But mostly because I love to travel. I would have no problem having a job that required it.

Note to self: Never fly with Angie. We will have the whole plane convinced we're going down!
I might have a drink in the airport waiting to board, but other than that I'm pretty calm about the whole thing.
...I do better when my kids are with me because at least then if I plunge to fiery death, I'm not leaving them without a mother. Egad. Morbid, right?! LOL ...![]()
I hate, hate, hate flying. HATE it. But I do it fairly often...however, it requires a combination of prayer, pep talks and prescription drugs. I do better when my kids are with me because at least then if I plunge to fiery death, I'm not leaving them without a mother. Egad. Morbid, right?! LOL The flights to CHA were hideous. VERY turbulent...like the kind where even the flight attendants are buckled in and totally silent, which is never a good thing. The lady sitting next to me was scared too. So we ended up holding hands for most of the way. Hahahahaha. I'm such a chicken. If DH is with me and, especially if we are flying overseas, I just take enough Xanax to pass out. It's better that way.![]()
So I'll say "Flight #481 from Cleveland to Orlando has crashed" and see if it has the newsy ring to it.
the big ones are the ones that make me feel like i'm going to DIEeeeee.
i'm supposed to love flying .. ^__^
but it makes me really .. bleh. I used to fly very frequently when i was younger (stand by.. uncle worked for AA and at that time that meant we all flew for free, they've reduced who can get those tix now). I much prefer flying in Bf's tiny plane angiethe big ones are the ones that make me feel like i'm going to DIEeeeee.

I don't even let my husband drive the car if I'm in it. I'm sure as hell not getting on a plane he's controlling.![]()
