I was intrigued to see a movie about menstruation win an award! Especially since people were saying"icky" beforehand.

I was so curious about it, I saw it today on Netflix. it's a 27 minutes long documentary about this project by an American school that helped this group of women in India , to teach them how to make their own hygienic pads...it's more about the tabu of this subject and the health issues involving this theme, on their culture , it's actually interesting! and also about the possibility of empowering those girls, some of them are making money for the first time and helping at home....
but I don't know if it's worth the award, maybe because all the feminism involved...

I haven't seen any of them. I usually wait until they are on Netflix or whatever. But OMG - how amazing were Lady Gaga and Bradley. That seriously melted my heart!
